Suggested Attire: A swimsuit + coverup/shirt is ideal for this day. Ocean spray does happen, so you will want an outfit that is water friendly. Also a light sweater as it can be windy and cool, especially in the morning.

Please join us for a welcome party to kick off the weekend! Chicken in a Barrel is located at the front of Waimea Plantation Cottages (right on property!) Watch the beautiful sunset as we indulge in pizza, beer, bbq! We will have private dining on the lanai for that ultimate island feel

Luau Kalamaku is located at the Kilohana Plantation. The property offers multiple authentic Hawaiian adventures! The wedding party will be doing the train and luau experience for the rehearsal dinner. We will start off the night with a 2.5-mile rail line that passes fields of original island crops like sugarcane, pineapple and taro. Into the heart of the plantation you get to disembark to spend some time feeding the pigs, goats, sheep, and their friendly donkey Stiney!! We then arrive at the Imu ceremony. This is where the cooks have prepared and cooked a pig in a traditional Hawaiian style underground oven for over 8 hours! Enjoy music and dancing through dinner! Their theatrical luau culminates with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing! While the incredible tale unfolds, you find yourself not merely watching a story– but in the heart of the story itself. Celebrate through story and song the primal rhythm of Kauai
