Oregon, and the Colombia River Gorge specifically, is full of beautiful waterfalls. Multnomah Falls is a huge, beautiful waterfall off the highway in between Portland and Hood River. We highly recommend checking it out!

Located just a bit South from Hood River is Grateful Vineyard. Enjoy wood-fired pizza in Oregon wine country, with Mt. Hood in the distance. Really gorgeous place - we considered getting married here!

This Hood River pizza place is busy on the weekends, but for a good reason. It's located right on the Colombia River and has stunning views, and delicious pizza and beer.

Trillium Lake is a stunning spot you can drive right up to and see the beautiful view of Mt. Hood reflecting off the lake. In the Summer they also have kayak and canoe rentals on site.

The Oregon coast is a wonderful juxtaposition of mountain, forest, and ocean. While the water is a bit too chilly to swim in, you should definitely check out the adorable beach town of Seaside - home of Haystack Rock. It is located about a little over an hour West of Portland.
