It all started with a friend request from Dave on Facebook and a note that read.

"I see we have a lot of common friends, but we have never met!"

Of course, she accepted his friend request.  His facebook picture was of him on a 4 wheeler in the sand that was intriguing!

A couple of days later, Kristy asked (Facebook friends) if anyone had a Toyota wheeler and would be willing to take her out  the next time they went.

Dave replied back with, "I have a yota, and i will take you wheeling!"

Kristy replied back with an energetic "Hell Yeah, let's do it!"

Shocked Dave planned it a week later, knowing he had only driven it one other time with questionable brakes.

So the following thursday afternoon, they decided to meet in Pinegrove a halfway point between Mt. Hood, where Dave lived and Mt. Adams where Kristy lives.

Right before the time they were supposed to meet up, Dave called and asked if she would like a couple steak tacos since he was at the taco truck.

That sealed the deal for Kristy she would continue on to that date!

Kristy parked her van and hoped in Black betty(Daves yota that Kristy named) and they drove up hwy 35 a couple miles to Neal Creek rd where the pavement ends and the wheeling begins!

Dave drove slow and cautious at first but when they hit gravel he asked Kristy do you mind if i get a little side ways!

Kristy replied hell yeah go for it!

Right then and there Dave fell in love with thoughts of she just might be his dream girl!

After about 20 minutes sliding around corners Dave slowed to a stop and said we better eat these tacos before they get any colder!

The continued up the gravel rd flirting and getting to know eachother when Kristy leaned in and kissed Dave for the fist time!

A few minutes later the reached pavement again Pine mount rd!

Dave ask Kristy do you need to get home anytime soon because we can go back down or go up and keep wheeling!

Kristy didnt skip a beat when answering back. "lets keep going in an excited voice!"

They soon found where the pavement ends and the gravel begins having fun fish tailing up the rd! Dave turned off on a dirt rd that he knows fairly well and took Kristy up to the top of Bald Butte! Kristy loved the beautiful view of Mt hood and Parkdale!

Instead of turning around and going back the way they came! Dave drove down the backside of Bald Butte a bumby ruted out rd that the truck barley fits down!

Bouncing over roots from trees on both sides! They came to pretty straight but fairly steep part that's when Kristy learned that Black Bettys breaks don't work very well!

we skidded and skiped down the hill over the gravel cross road on to an actual 4 wheeler trail keeping calm dave pressed on knowing he passed the rd they wanted to turn on!

They soon came and rolled over a ciuole tables top jumps!

When Kristy says, "I dont think this is a rd!?"

Dave replied back with "what gave it a way the jumps were going over lol!"

They both busted up laughing! Slow rolling down the 4 wheeler trail for a little while they came back out on pavement and Dave drove down Pine mount back to the taco stand where Kristys van was parked.

They gave each other a big hug and kiss goodnight!

Then Dave surprised Kristy with a bottle of Red wine he had hidding behind his seat! Her favorite kind!

They both drove home with smiles on there face thinking that was the best date they had ever had!
