Your presence on our special day is the greatest present we could ask for. We appreciate the effort involved in joining us for our wedding, so if you want to provide a present, gift cards are the best. Otherwise, we are excited to celebrate our special day with you.

When is the RSVP date?

The resort has limited availability (due to social distancing and other factors); therefore, we are asking for family and close friends to RSVP by making a $50 per person deposit by September 30th, 2022 to be added to our reserved room block and group activities.

What are the suggested travel dates?

We want nothing more than for our friends and family to enjoy their VACATION :) . Please feel free to arrive as early in advance as you'd like and stay at the resort for as long as you'd like. Enjoy yourself, and VACATION :) To maximize your vacation time, enjoy excursions, enjoy the wedding, and have time for yourself, we recommend the following date range: April 18th, 2023 – April 23rd, 2023 (Additionally, the resort has a 4 night minimum stay requirement.)

What is the payment schedule?

Deposit Due - non-refundable deposit, $50 per person – September 30, 2022. Final Balance Due - Anytime before February 15, 2023. *Travel protection is recommended. All payments are non-refundable after February 15, 2023. *Partial payments are recommended – some guests prefer to pay for their trip in monthly installments, while others ensure that they’re paid in full anytime prior to the final balance due date.

Do I have the option to purchase travel protection?

Absolutely! We strongly recommend travel protection. Just like other investments (house, car, health, jewelry), the travel protection plan helps to protect your travel investment from any unforeseen circumstances that may arise before or during your trip. What is the cancellation policy?

The $50 deposit is non-refundable. We strongly recommend that each guest purchase Trip Protection from any trusted supplier. Final balances are due February 15, 2023. All rooms are under 100% cancellation following February 15, 2023 and any applicable refunds must be requested from your travel protection supplier. Example 1: Guest pays balance in full prior to February 15, 2023 and cancels prior to February 15, 2023. The $50 deposit is non-refundable. All other partial payments will be refunded. Do I have to book with Just Book It Travel?

Yes, we request that all guests only utilize our dedicated planner and travel coordinators at Just Book It Travel, whom we have hired to manage our guest list. This helps us to keep the entire group organized and included in our planned group activities and informed of logistics and frequent updates. Everyone will receive a group discount, so you’ll always pay less than the internet by using Just Book It Travel, and most importantly, you will receive concierge level service from them. Additionally, Just Book It Travel has flexible payment plans, making your travel arrangements even more affordable and convenient. If you've ever tried to contact an online travel company to make changes or cancellations, you'll appreciate the benefit of using a local, boutique travel agency (especially during times of uncertainty).

What does “All-Inclusive mean”?

All-Inclusive resorts offer: All you can eat (gourmet restaurants and buffets), All you can drink (alcohol, mixed drinks, daiquiris, and non-alcoholic beverages), Entertainment (the resort will have daily and nightly activities including shows and a night club), Water Sports (kayaking, paddle boarding, and other non-motorized water sports are typically included), Room Service includes 24-hour room service of food. Are there excursions that we can participate in?

Sure thing! When it gets closer to travel, we will work with the group on planning a group excursion and we'll keep the group posted on any updates. Can I upgrade my room?

bsolutely! As long as the resort has availability for your travel dates. See the RSVP/Book My Room Page for rooms that we have pre-selected in our room block. If you wish to book a different room category, please indicate your desired room on your reservation form. Just Book It Travel will contact you with pricing, availability and next steps. Go for it – book the master suite!

What if my potential travel companion (roomie) is TBD, unknown at this time, or not ready to book?

Time waits for no one :) Book without them and add them to your reservation at a later time. Since prices and availability are subject to change, be sure to reserve the room for just yourself and we can add them when they are ready. Solo occupancy hotel rates are sometimes higher than double occupancy. When we add your travel companion in the future, you'll recognize the double occupancy savings. Rates are refreshed at the time future changes are made.

How do I purchase travel protection?

We recommend booking travel protection along with your itinerary. See Travel Protection options here: https://www.jbit-destinationweddings.com/classic-insurance-cfar-tj. This travel protection plan must be purchased within 48 hours of booking your room. If you are looking for independent, outside coverage that is purchased separately, please do your research and book with any trusted travel protection provider as soon as possible. Cancellation fees are non-refundable, except through qualified travel protection reimbursements.

Will there be any other events during the weekend that I should prepare for?

When is the final payment due?

All final payments are due February 15, 2023. Partial payments are encouraged, but not required. Reminders will be sent frequently.

What is the best way to find good flight deals?

We suggest setting up flight alerts. Our favorite is Google flights because it includes a wider range of airlines. Use search engines to find the best deal, but remember to book the flight itself directly via the airline to maximize your flexibility if your plans were to change. Which airport I should arrive/depart?

When searching for flights, the airport you are flying to is Cancun International Airport (CUN).

How do I get from the airport to the resort?

We highly recommend securing your transportation in advance along with your room reservation. You can get taxis or shuttle transportation at the airport/resort but they are usually more expensive when buying directly on the same day. Pricing for your group for Round Trip Transportation from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport are: • $50 per person (min 2 people) - direct non-stop service, only guests from the wedding group will be transported in the same vehicle. • If you wish to be transported alone or with specific companions, without other members of the wedding group, please email us at weddings3@justbookittravel.com to inquire about other options.

Do I need to have my passport prior to making my deposit for the trip?

Passports are required at the time of travel. As long as you provide Just Book It Travel with your full legal name, you can arrange travel in advance. Instructions to apply for passports can be found here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/need-passport/apply-in-person.html. Expedited Passports now can take up to 12 weeks - we do recommend getting your passport as soon as possible. Please allow 12-16 weeks for standard passport applications to process following your scheduled appointment with a passport "acceptance facility" (https://iafdb.travel.state.gov/). If you do not obtain your passport prior to travel, you are responsible for any associated cancellation fees.

Are there any travel restrictions for departure and/or return?

Please use this link and input your vaccination status, passport country, destination country, and date range to obtain any applicable travel restrictions, VISA requirements, COVID-19 testing requirements, and forms/documents required. This site can change at anytime. When it is closer to your trip, the Just Book It Travel team will send you any relevant information as it relates to wedding travel.

Will I need cash? What else should I pack? If this is my first international trip, or first trip in a long time, how can I best prepare?

We recommend that all guests read this Pre-Travel Checklist (https://www.justbookittravel.com/mexico-pre-travel-checklist) as prepared by Just Book It Travel, to ensure a seamless travel experience. All confirmed guests will receive very detailed traveling instructions 7-10 days prior to travel.
