HOW IT ALL STARTED... ❤️



Kristy and Joseph met in the world of cardiac nursing, where they both learnt how to fix broken hearts (literally).

One day Joe decided to write Kristy a note saying, listen to the song "Never Seen Nothing Like You" by Nate Highfield.

and the song goes like this...

"No, I've never seen nothing like you

No one else makes me feel like you do, yeah

I've searched across the universe

I've seen many things so beautiful, it's true

But I've never seen nothing like you."

In the end, they ended up falling in love with each other and decided to give each other's heart.

Until Joe moved to Blackpool for 9 months... Unsure if they were ever going to see each other again. Until Joe made the commitment of moving back to Lincolnshire.

MEETING AND LIVING WITH PARENTS

On February 2021 Joe and Kristy decided to live together.

Joe moved in to a very loving household of the Taylor family where he met parents, Alison and Paul. He also met Kristy's sister, Lauren and her husband Matthew, who welcomed him into the family with open arms.

Alison and Paul helped a lot in guiding Kristy and Joe be a more stronger and understanding couple.

WELCOME TO OUR HOME

After living for 2 years in the Taylor Family House, Kristy and Joe had finally saved up enough money (of course with the help of both parents of Kristy and Joe) to buy their dream home.

Kristy and Joe moved in to their newbuild house on February 2023, with their fur babies Rosie and Simba.

On June 2023, a new member of the Taylor-Solidum household has joined the family.

"BAILEY"

Now Kristy and Joe are the proud parents to Rosie (The Bear), Simba (the quiet middle child) and of course Bailey (The baker/inspector)

THE PROPOSAL

On 5th of November 2023, Joe decided to kneel on one knee and ask Kristy THE QUESTION.

Witnessed by the majestic Stately Home of Burghley House and set on the very picturesque spot of the Lion's Bridge, blessed with the sunny weather and the heavenly blue skies, Joseph said "Will you marry me?" and Kristy replied...

The most beautiful and sweet "YES" that Joe has ever heard in his entire life, which then promptly followed this with...

" Did you ask my parents?"

A DREAM COME TRUE, MEETING THE PARENTS 2.0

After 2-3 years of just speaking and seeing Joe's family thru messenger/facetime, Joe finally decided to bring Kristy home to his mum and dad in the Philippines at the end of November 2023. Also meeting many members of the family including brother Raymund, sister Gilliza and other family members far and wide.

Kristy has fulfilled Joe's dream to bring a beautiful, lovely and kind-hearted lady home to his parents.

They welcomed Kristy into their home and showed her their culture and many amazing sights of the Philippines.

Our First Christmas in our new house

Coming back from the Philippines we then hosted our first Christmas in our home. And I should say thanks to my beautiful Fiancée- it went really well 🥰🥰🥰

We cannot thank the family of both Kristy and Joseph for the support and love they have showed us since we met. We love you all so much.
