Zach and Krystal both attended Worcester State University where they met in 2012 at a party thrown at Zach's football house. Ever since that night, they have been great friends hanging out and attending many events, concerts and EDM shows together. They even tried dating at one point but after graduating and both moving home to start their careers, they agreed it was best to remain friends. They kept in touch over the years and in 2021, Krystal visited the lake house where Zach and his family were. That was the beginning of it all.
