Krystal and Andrew met in the fall of 2020 while working at Diesel's Sub & Wraps. Krystal had just moved back to New Jersey after living in St. Thomas, USVI for 2 years. Andrew was in his senior year at Drew University, however due to Covid, he spent his semester back home in Lacey Township. He started working a part time as a delivery driver, while Krystal worked behind the counter. During the work Christmas party, they started to get to know each other more.

Winter break had come and gone, and Andrew was heading back to finish his senior year in person at Drew University. It wasn’t until he graduated in May and returned home to Lacey that they reconnected. Once again, they were working shifts together at Diesel’s and talking more regularly. Krystal made the first move by asking Andrew if he would be interested in going to see the latest Disney movie that was in theaters. After that night, they became inseparable! On June 28, 2021 while at Ship Bottom Brewery in LBI, Andrew asked Krystal to officially be his girlfriend - she said yes!

Throughout the summer, Krystal and Andrew spent their time together celebrating birthdays, going to Phillies games, and even flying down to Pensacola, FL at the end of August to meet Andrew’s parents. In the fall, the two started looking at jobs and towns outside of Philly they thought would be a good fit for them. They knew that people were going to think they were crazy, especially because they weren’t even dating for 6 months, but they didn’t care! They moved into their apartment in Voorhees mid-December, where they still live today.

Over the years, Krystal and Andrew have been through many life experiences and adventures together. Throughout all of these moments and conversations, there was always one topic that they talked about: the future.

On December 15, 2023, Andrew made plans to take Krystal into Philadelphia for some Christmas activities. While walking to their dinner reservation, Andrew brought Krystal to a small, beautiful street which was gleaming with Christmas lights. As Krystal got out her phone to take pictures, Andrew grabbed her hand, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him - she said yes! He had a photographer hiding on the street who captured the moment and spent the next hour taking pictures of them on Addison St. After taking pictures, they called their loved ones to share the big news and enjoyed dinner at The Love, gushing over stuff Andrew had been hiding over the past few months and Krystal’s growing suspicions. To top it all off, they spent the rest of the weekend celebrating with all of their friends and family at a surprise engagement party.

Krystal and Andrew are so excited to start this next chapter of their lives together as husband and wife. Please join them in celebrating their marriage on June 28, 2025 (exactly 4 years since they started dating) and don’t forget your party pants!
