It All Started With A Swipe Right

and somehow, that moment turned into shared playlists, inside jokes, and a surprisingly passionate debate about the correct way to load the washing machine.

Before we knew it, cozy weekends at the Raymond Street house became our favorite part of the week. Filled with Saturday adventures, half-watched TV shows (only because Joseph missed half because he fell asleep) and the quiet magic of learning how to love each other through all the small, messy, wonderful moments of everyday life.

Then came our first overnight road trip — a slightly chaotic, snack-fueled adventure full of wrong turns, right songs, and the quiet realization that being stuck in a car together for hours just felt... easy. It was one of those “so this is what it’s supposed to feel like” moments.

One of our favorite adventures was in St. Louis, stepping into the world of Van Gogh at the interactive art gallery — where the walls moved, the stars swirled, and we stood there, hand in hand, completely wrapped up in it all.

Of course, no great love story is complete without the ultimate test: family holidays. From juggling traditions and travel plans to learning everyone's names (and inside jokes), we found our rhythm. Whether it was mismatched pajamas, or chaotic group chats, we learned that love means showing up - without a beard, because you chose the wrong guard! Lol

And then there were all the moments in between — the ones that don’t always make the highlight reel but mean everything to us. Like that birthday trip to Denver, where we got lost more than once but never stopped laughing. Or the day we brought home Osgood — who instantly became the center of our world (and the boss of the house).There were lazy Sunday mornings turned into all-day video game marathons, backyard bonfires that stretched late into the night, and countless quiet evenings where doing nothing together somehow felt like everything. These are the memories that stitched our days together — the small, beautiful pieces that built a life we both love.

And then, on April 8th, 2024 — under a sky that quite literally shifted into darkness — he proposed. As the world paused for the eclipse, so did we. For a moment, everything went still: the light dimmed, the air quieted, and there we were — standing in the shadow of the moon, hearts wide open. Saying “yes” felt like the easiest thing in the world... mostly because we already knew: we were always meant to find our way to this moment.

So here we are — after road trips and quiet nights, moving boxes and backyard bonfires, eclipse skies and everyday magic. Our story has been built one moment at a time: sometimes loud and unforgettable, sometimes quiet and beautifully ordinary.And while this chapter ends at “I do,” it’s really just the beginning. Because the best part of our love story isn’t how it started — it’s everything we’re still writing, together.
