They met back in high school. Though passing glances in the hallways and during gym would happen it wasn't until junior year when they shared a class. Algebra to be exact. Soon came Pi day, and they were instructed to make a beaded bracelet that symbolized the mathematical constant, Pi. Troy gave the bracelet he had made to Krystal. The semester ended and they continued on with life.
Come senior year, Krystal messaged Troy on Facebook and shared that she still had his bracelet from the year prior. They finally realized that they both had been crushing on each other that entire algebra class. They started dating the day after high school graduation. It was young love and the high school sweethearts were together for 4.5 years.
Their paths ended up going in different directions and they decided to move on separately.
“If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it’s yours. If it doesn’t, it never was.”
As fate would have it, 7 long years after their path in the road forked, life had brought them back together. Shortly after that, they both realized the spark was still there and they would give it another shot. A year later, they bought a blueberry farm and moved into their dream home. Troy proposed to Krystal on their farm, where they will also be getting married.
