Krystal and Fabrizio began their journey back in 2007, where God brought the two to meet. We don’t mean this in a cliche way, the two met in Catholic confirmation classes. Going into high school the next year, they found out they would being seeing a lot more of each other at Barbara Goleman Senior High School.

Now, when we say it was a journey, we truly mean it. Krystal looked up to her older sister, Kristy, for guidance as a freshman. Kristy was a junior at this point and she sat with the basketball kids during lunch, not because she played the sport… just because. So, Krystal often found herself at that table as well. Guess who was a basketball player?

Their friendship grew, and during their sophomore year, the two shared PE class together. Now gaining respect in basketball, Fabrizio would always have first pick for his teammates. Krystal, as one of the only girls who actually played sports during PE, heard her name called for Fabrizio’s team over all the guys.

The story continued during their junior year when Fabrizio sat behind Krystal in literature class. At this point, he started getting a little more flirtatious. He would play with her hair during class and things began to take a turn.

As seniors in high school, Krystal had some liquid courage one night when she texted Fabrizio, revealing that she knew he liked her and that the feeling was mutual - bold move. Since that night, Krystal and Fabrizio have been inseparable for many, many, many years, which brings us to present day.

On July 17, 2023, Fabrizio planned Krystal’s dream proposal in Paris, France. In front of the Eiffel Tower, he asked for her hand in matrimony, and she said, “yes!”
