Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Located approximately 25 kms from Airlie Beach. Virgin Australia has daily connecting flights from across Australia via Brisbane into Proserpine and Alliance Airlines offer some services between Proserpine & Brisbane. Jetstar offers a daily direct service from Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne. Virgin Australia provide direct services most days to/from Brisbane. Skytrans also offers some direct flights to/from Rockhampton and to/from Cairns. Most of the major hire car companies have representatives at Proserpine airport. There is also a bus service that operates into Airlie Beach - Whitsunday Transit http://www.whitsundaytransit.com.au/transfers or Heart of the Reef Shuttles who provide a door to door service https://www.whitsundaytransfers.com/ and taxis meet all flights. Hamilton Island Virgin Australia, Jetstar and Qantas fly into this airport flying direct services from Sydney, Brisbane & Melbourne. There is a ferry company which operates from Hamilton Island Airport to the mainland. These ferries meet all flights. Cruise Whitsundays travel to The Port of Airlie in Airlie Beach. You can find pricing and timetable information on the company’s website. Please be aware that you will need to stay on the mainland as there are no ferry services which coincide with the timing of the wedding.

All guests must be brought to and from Villa Botanica in private shuttles. Villa Botanica exists within a gated residential community with limited parking. Transport is provided from accommodation locations in the Airlie Beach and Cannonvale area. You will be requested to advise of your accommodation choice so that we can let the venue arrange for your pick up. Pickup times will be from 2pm onwards, located at or near your accommodation location. Details of shuttle schedule times will be forwarded to you by email or otherwise prior to the wedding. The Greyhound Bus is also an alternative.

We ask that you respect our wish for an unplugged ceremony, where you are unable to have your phones out at all. Don't worry though, there will be plenty of time for you to take photos and videos during the rest of the day. We just ask that you don't post any pictures of us or the bridal party until we have had the chance to share that special moment with everyone ourselves.

As you have all travelled from far and wide to be with us today, we appreciate that travelling with gifts is impractical; therefore there will be a wishing well at the venue for guests to place their cards in on the evening of the wedding.

Due to a limit on numbers at our venue, only those who receive an invitation with their name on it are invited to our special day. If you bring someone to Airlie Beach with you we are more than happy for them to come to the other events prior/post the wedding to celebrate with us.

We love your little ones - however, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event. It might be worthwhile asking family/friends to join you in a holiday to Airlie Beach to mind your children during the wedding day. Childcare can be arranged off-site. The Whitsundays has lovely weather most of the year round. It can get very warm during the afternoon, with the maximum daily temperatures averaging between 23°C and 30°C with overnight minimums falling to between 16°C and 24°C. Ladies, we also recommend that you bring comfortable footwear to dance the night away and something warm to cover shoulders for it can feel very cool with the sea breezes in the evening.
