Our Wedding

The way we got together is pretty funny actually. We have known each other since High School. I was in the 11th grade and he was in 12th, but we were both in Chorus together. I was very shy back then, and didn’t talk to people much and he was the complete opposite. I never spoke to him because I always thought he looked so mean. But looks can be deceiving because one day when I was sitting with a mutual friend of ours, he asked me to braid his dreads for him during class. From there we started talking and became friends. Once he graduated we didn’t see each other at all really but when we did we just picked up where we left off, talking and laughing like always. A few years passed and I went through something very traumatic and hard, he reached out to me and offered to cheer me up one day when I went out to get gas. We sat and talked for about an hour and then we went about our way. He texted me that night and said he had a crush on me. I wasn’t really looking for anyone but something about him was different, so I just asked him to text me as a friend for the time being. It wasn’t even a week into texting when he said “You’re going to be my wife one day. I’ve always had a crush on you and I can feel it. I feel like God put us together because I prayed for a woman like you.” And now seven months later, we are engaged and living our happily ever after!♥️💍🥰
