General Wedding Website FAQs
Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?
We ask all guests to RSVP online, here on our wedding website. RSVPs should be submitted no later than July 7.
What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?
We recommend using either Uber, Lyft, or a Taxi if you don't plan to drive. If you're driving, parking is free and available at both the Church & the Lodge.
Will your wedding & reception be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony will take place indoors at the church. We hope to hold our cocktail hour outdoors (weather permitting) but dinner and dancing will take place inside the Katherine Legge Lodge.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Yes, we have a block of rooms reserved at The Drake Oak Brook, Autograph Collection. More details on how to book with our discounted rate can be found under the TRAVEL section on this website.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
The dress code for our wedding is Cocktail attire. We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with tie and women wear a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates. Please no jeans or athletic wear.
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a family-style salad course and a choice of entrée.
Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
When you RSVP, please let us know your dietary restrictions so we can try to accommodate.
Will there be an open bar?
An open bar will be available for our guests at the wedding reception.
Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?
Our wedding registry can be found on the REGISTRY section of this website.
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 926 Maple Ave, Apt 404, Downers Grove, IL 60515.
A wedding card box will be at our reception.
If you feel inclined to give us a monetary wedding gift, a contribution towards our Honeymoon would help get our newlywed life off to a great start!
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Yes, please feel free to capture photos of our special day. If you post on social media, please use the hashtag #wesolomonlyswear.
Wedding Weekend Itinerary FAQs
What is the wedding day itinerary?
The wedding ceremony starts at 2:30 PM so we ask that guests arrive at least 15 minutes early. We expect the ceremony to take approximately 1 hour, ending around 3:30 PM. The wedding reception will begin with Cocktail Hour starting at 5:30 PM followed by dinner and dancing. The reception will end at 10:30 PM.
What should we do during the gap between the ceremony and the reception?
To accommodate for travel time and photos, there will be a 2 hour gap between the ceremony and the reception. We've provided recommendations below to a few of our favorite spots nearby for a snack or drink prior to Cocktail Hour:

Is there an after-party?
Yes, if you care to keep the party going, we've notified D.J.s Sports Bar in Westmont that a number of guests and friends of the bride and groom will be arriving around 11 PM. Although we will be providing some late-night snacks for those attending, drinks will not be covered by the bride & groom and are available for purchase.
Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?
All of our guests are invited to join us on Friday, August 2nd from 3 - 6 PM at The Foxtail for a welcome Happy Hour. Food and beverages are available to purchase for those attending. The Foxtail is located at 5237 Main St, Downers Grove, IL 60515.
How do I know if I have a plus one?
When you RSVP, it will bring up all members of your party (including plus ones if allocated). We wish we could have more people attend, but we have to keep our attendees to a specific number due to venue restrictions.
