Our journey began at SWOSU in Weatherford, OK back in 2017. It was there, amidst the hustle of work at the local Papa John’s, that Luke and I found each other.

Luke asked me to hangout with him and drive around town. I called my best friend because I wasn’t so sure, but I went any way. It was in that moment that I began to see Luke not just as a frat-boy colleague, but as someone special that I had to keep seeing outside of work.
Gardening and thrifting quickly became our favorite shared activities since graduating college. These shared passions have brought us even closer, creating memories that we’ll cherish forever.
This past year has been filled with immense challenges and losses for both of us. But through it all, Luke’s unwavering strength and compassion have been my rock. It was in those moments of grief and healing that I truly understood the depth of our connection. Luke is not just my partner but my home – a source of strength and comfort when life throws its curveballs.
The day Luke proposed to me was such a special day. On our anniversary, just before Christmas, he surprised me with a beautifully set-up scene. With a note in one hand and a ring box in the other, Luke asked me to seal the deal and spend the rest of my life with him.

As we look ahead to our future, we dream of creating a warm and loving home, starting a family, and growing old together. None of this would be possible without the incredible support of our friends and family – the pillars of love in our lives. You’ve been with us through thick and thin, shaping us into the people we are today.
