Kurtis and Paige first met in the Wisconsin Lutheran College choir. In this photo, they were on a choir tour in Arizona when Kurtis asked Paige to take a picture (2 years prior to dating).

At the beginning of Paige's Junior year of college, and Kurtis' Senior year of college, the two ended up in Astronomy class together. Through this class and choir, the pair started spending the majority of their days together and quickly became best friends. While they don't have any pictures of this time (sadly), they look back on this time of their relationship being the foundation of the love they share today.

While being best friends was cool, both Kurtis and Paige started to fall for each other (who do you think fell first?). After the new year, they went on their first few dates and became "official" in February!

At the beginning of August 2023, Paige and Kurtis took a week-long road trip down to Miami, Florida, where he left her for 3 months to teach some kiddos English. When Paige returned to Wisconsin in October, both she and Kurtis were sure they never wanted to live without the other.

As a storm rolled in on an afternoon in May, Kurtis asked Paige to marry him, with the help of Paige's best friends! She of course said "yes!"
