It all started with a little family connection and a whole lot of fate!While my cousin (Rhianna)was working at a restaurant during college, Dillon happened to be there replacing their cooler. My cousin’s mom took one look and said, “He’s cute!” — and before I knew it, Dillon’s Snapchat somehow ended up in my cousin Rhianna’s hands. Of course, Rhianna passed it straight to me!
Let’s just say it took a little persistence on my end… I had to add Dillon three times before he finally added me back. My very first message to him was a simple “Wyd,” back in March 2021, and that one message started everything.

Our first time meeting was at Walmart (romantic, I know!), and from there we started hanging out, going on dates, and even took a trip to North Carolina to check on his 1968 blue Camaro while it was being rebuilt. About a month later, on May 9, 2021, we went to the beach — and that’s when Dillon asked me to be his girlfriend. My answer? “I guess,” with a smile of course!

Ever since that day, it’s been history. We’ve grown together, made mistakes, and learned so much — but through it all, we’ve always found our way back to each other. Dillon brings the brains, and I bring the medical and street smarts — together we’re the perfect balance.

Now, our little family includes our two Boykin Spaniels, Bentley and Scout, who keep us on our toes (and steal all the cuddles). And we can’t forget Kitty, our sweet 11-year-old cat we adopted from a friend — she’s the queen of the house.

Then, on the most magical morning — August 15th, just as the sun was rising over the beach, Dillon got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. From our first beach date to our sunrise proposal, it feels like life truly came full circle.
