Kye and Kyle grew up on different sides of the world unaware of each other’s existence, but the Lord had other plans for them. In 2020, Kye and Kyle both moved to the state of California for school. They first met at their now home church, Sandals Church Azusa. The exact details of their meeting is unclear but that is where their friendship blossomed. Kye and Kyle continued to see each at church and at the young adults community group. But it wasn’t until they started serving in kids ministry when they truly got to know each other more. Kye and Kyle now started to hang out outside of church functions to deepen their friendship. Romantic feelings were now obvious and growing between the two. Then one slightly gloomy and rainy evening, Kyle took Kye out to dinner at a Thai restaurant. After dinner Kyle had a surprise waiting for Kye at his apartment. It was there he finally asked her to be his girlfriend and their dating journey began. The year 2023 was a fun year for both of them. The days were filled with adventures, beach days, lunch dates and work outs. While the evening got busy with movie nights, double dates and ice cream runs. But the biggest part of their 2023 happened on December 4th. It was set up to look like another fun photo shoot with a friend when in reality Kye was about to get the best news of her life. She was caught off guard when Kyle went down on one knee to ask her a life changing question. When the moment came she said yes to marrying her best friend and the love of her life! Now Kye and Kyle are about to start a new journey together called marriage! We can’t wait to see what the Lord does in Kye and Kyle’s lives as they continue to grow together! 💕
