They met in person for the first time at their homecoming dance junior year. They had been talking on social media for awhile.. Kyla took the first step in asking Cade if he wanted to join her and her friends to the dance. Cade probably answered her with a "that's fine".

Kyla and Cade often attended school events together. They enjoyed going to friday night football games. Kyla always made sure Cade had something to match that weeks theme.

Kyla and Cade continued to grow closer as time went on. They often enjoyed doing fun activities together including a gingerbread house contest.

They came full circle when they went to their last highschool dance together, senior prom. They attended Cape together afterwards, Kyla won some giftcards and Cade went home empty handed.

Kyla graduated from Muscatine High School. Cade also graduated thanks to Kyla for helping him with all his homework.

They both like to enjoy family time, especially at Snowstar where they spent the day with Cades Family tubing.

Kyla and Cade signed their first rental lease in Ottumwa. This is where Kyla attended Indian Hills college for her dental assisting and dental hygiene degree.

Kyla and Cade enjoy going on vacations especially to Tennessee where they have went three times since they have been together.

Kyla graduated from dental assisting at Indian Hills community college. Cade has always supported her with her goal of finishing school as a dental hygienist.

Kyla and Cade got engaged on this day at the McConnaha Farm.
