Ayden and Kyla are the epitome of meeting through modern dating and that means they both swiped right. Ayden was going to school to earn her bachelors in psychology in North Carolina and Kyla was living and working in Knoxville, TN when they matched on bumble in April of 2019.

They ended up talking and FaceTiming for a while until one day, out of spontaneity, they met half way in between NC & TN in Asheville in June.

Ayden brought her puppy, Klous with her for many reasons, but the main reason was to be her wing-man (where he obviously succeeded). They had an instant connection, and ended up getting a hotel since they didn’t want to go home yet. After a trip to Target for dog food and snacks, they were set. Ayden claims that at 2am that morning, Kyla insisted she wanted cookout and the rest is history. Their time together consisted of talking, getting to know each other, and playing with Klous. In July, Kyla came to NC to spend some time with friends and to see Ayden. That’s when Ayden and Kyla became official.

After being long distance (3 hours and 46 min, & 237 miles apart), In spring of 2020, Kyla and Ayden ended up moving to Ayden’s home town due to Covid. Later in December, they packed their bags and headed to Knoxville. During this time, Ayden was continuing her education at her university. After about a year and a half, they were finally able to get their own place with their two beloved pets, Klous and Stella.

In April of 2022, Ayden finally got some courage to propose, so Ayden called in the family and Kyla was oblivious, she thought they were all there to just visit on a short trip. Little did she know after a wonderful dinner and a walk around downtown she would quickly become a Fiancée.

After a wild ride full of love and happiness, 5 years later they are getting married!
