While we may have originally met in 6th grade, our history in the making did not begin until a high school bonfire. Quickly that bonfire turned into multiple bonfires and hangouts. On 5/22/15, Kyle officially asked Heather to be his girlfriend with a blowup pool fish and the question “of all the fish in the sea, you are the one for me. Whale you be my girlfriend?” How could a girl say no to that? With Heather saying yes, the days turned to years and summer love turned into becoming each others home. After high school, Heather went on to college and Kyle began working to save for their future. The distance was hard, and many challenges were faced. However, together the two made it through all of the trials and triumphs. After college graduation, Heather moved back home and the two continued to be inseparable until they signed the lease on their first home together in 2020. Living together was everything they had hoped for and more. The couple decided to make it permanent by placing an offer on a home in 2021 making them first time homeowners. The fall after buying their home, the couple welcomed their first Fur Baby, Oakley, into the home and immediately started their family. Six months later, they added to their family after rescuing and adopting their 2nd Fur Baby, Cago, from the streets of Chicago. In December 2022, Kyle officially asked Heather to be his wife while picking out their perfect Christmas tree, making her favorite activity their most memorable moment. While they plan for children in the future following their marriage, Heather and Kyle have all they need for right now. The love, fun, and memories have continued throughout our relationship, and we can’t wait to create more with our friends and loved ones on our wedding day, making 9/14/24 our new favorite day!
