Kyle had a desire to follow the Lord’s Will for his life, even if that meant that he was supposed to remain single. 
Kayla had finally surrendered totally to the Lord, no matter where the Lord led her or what the Lord led her to do. In Fall of 2022, Kyle began messaging Kayla as a friend and to be a spiritual encouragement as she navigated through a difficult season in her life. When Kyle first began reaching out to Kayla it was to be a friend and spiritual encouragement but as time went on, Kyle began to have a desire to know more about Kayla and know her on more than just a friend level. As he learned more about Kayla, Kyle began to fall in love with Kayla. As Kyle messaged Kayla, Kayla began praying about how the Lord would lead when it came to her and Kyle. Kyle asked Kayla and her dad to officially pursue Kayla and get to know her on a deeper level than friendship. Both Kayla and her dad agreed to Kyle getting to know her as more than a friend. They officially started talking on Oct 10th. A little over 2 months later on December 16th, Kyle asked Kayla to be his girlfriend to which she excitedly answered “yes”. During the summer of 2023 they had the opportunity to serve the Lord together while on staff (Kyle full time and Kayla summer staff) at The Edge Christian Camp. On July 16th, 2023 in Hanover, PA at Codorus State Park, Kyle proposed to Kayla overlooking the lake.

Kyle and Kayla are excitedly awaiting their wedding day and what the Lord has in store for them!
