After a summer of running around with mutual friends, hanging out by the pool and dancing at Hot Country Nights, Kyle finally asked Gracie to be his girlfriend. Their first date was mini golfing at Smiley’s Golf Course. ⛳️

In the summer of 2020, the couple took a road trip up north with Kyle’s family where they stopped at a lot of cool spots along the way. They saw Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone National Park, The Grand Tetons and The Badlands.

On their 1st anniversary together, Kyle took Gracie on a date which included a series of surprise destinations throughout the day. One of which was Smiley’s putt putt course in honor of where their love story started!

The first few years of their relationship were spent in a gym watching Gracie play college volleyball for MidAmerica Nazarene University. She graduated from there in 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Kyle graduated from Washburn University as a Rad Tech. Kyle now takes MRI scans and Gracie is a nurse.

Kyle and Gracie really enjoy traveling together and exploring new places. They always look forward to the annual beach trip with Gracie’s family in the summertime. Some of their favorite beaches are at Gulf Shores, Alabama, Cape San Blas, Florida and Bonita Springs, Florida. They are also very excited to explore the island of St. Lucia on their honeymoon!

Over their time together, Kyle and Gracie have attended a ton of concerts from all sorts of genres! Some of their favorites to see live were Post Malone, Ed Sheeran, Cody Johnson, Zach Bryan, Parker McCollum and Charles Wesley Godwin. They have also been to a few comedy shows including Gabriel Iglesias, Jeff Dunham and Brad Williams.

In March of 2022, Kyle and Gracie bought their very first house and moved in together! They have loved getting to add their own touch to the place and couldn’t have done it all without the help from their family and friends.

In the fall of 2022, their little family grew by 4 furry paws! 🐾 The couple adopted their first dog together named Waylon and he has been the center of their attention ever since. Kyle and Gracie also own a black and white cat named Boo Kitty.

Kyle and Gracie are big Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas Jayhawks, Everton, Royals and Sporting KC fans! In their free time you can catch them at one of these sporting events or if they’re not there, they’re definitely busy watching the games and cheering on their teams from home.

For date nights or fun with friends and family, the couple loves to try new activities together. Including Axe Throwing, Kayaking, Pickleball, Sand Volleyball, Arcade Games, Candle Making, Mini Golfing, etc.

On February 9th, 2023, Gracie’s 23rd Birthday, Kyle surprised her with the best gift ever. A RING! 💍 After taking her on a fun filled day, the couple found themselves at their special little bench at Shawnee Mission Park where Kyle got down on one knee and popped the question. It was Gracie’s easiest “yes” ever! They then ended the night with a beautiful celebratory dinner with their families.

They will get married on August 10, 2024 which will mark 5 years together to the day.
