Springdale
The event will be held in Springdale, which has a cute downtown area complete with restaurants and a couple of bars. Springdale is great if you'd like to hop on the bike trail- a short ride to Fayetteville or Rogers/Bentonville.
Kyle and I recommend Homegrown for breakfast, Taqueria Don Guero for street tacos, and you can wash it down with an award-winning cider from Black Apple! If you prefer to try out all different types of beers (think: weird flavors), check out Social Project!
Fayetteville
Fayetteville is fairly close to downtown Springdale- it is home to the Maris' alma mater: The University of Arkansas! Woo pig! Kyle and Maris also live downtown here. It has lots of charm, boutiques, coffee shops, bars.... the list goes on.
Kyle and I's favorites place to walk on a Saturday morning is over to Little Bread Co for a bagel sandwich, and then over to Arsaga's for a delightful coffee drink. We recommend going up to the square to check out the farmer's market, Pearl's Books, City Supply, and listen to the sweet sounds of Bluegrass. If you're feeling adventurous, take a walk around Lake Fayetteville, drive out to Devil's Den State Park, or go climbing down at Boulders and Brews!
In the evening, it is always great to get a fat burger at Hugo's, drink a cocktail at Maxine's (Maris frequented this place senior year of college), and maybe rent a room at Big Box Karaoke! If old school video games are your scene, check out Arkadia Retro Arcade- $5 gets you all you can play on tons of vintage machines.
If you want a fancy meal while here, check out Leverett Lounge or Atlas! Both are absolutely incredible and Maris and Kyle love to go for date nights.
Bentonville
Home of Walmart Home Office, Crystal Bridges Art Museum and Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, Bentonville offers a variety of scenes to suit anyone in the family! It's a 25 minute drive from the venue with access to activities galore.
We would recommend to have a walk around the square, visit one of three Airship Coffee locations, and grab a bite to eat and shop at 8th Street Market. You can then walk over to the Momentary, check out the exhibits there, and head up to the top floor to grab a drink at the Tower Bar (their espresso martinis are to die for).
Rogers
Want to see the world's largest air rifle, in the middle of a downtown? Visit the Daisy Air Rifle museum! Want to take a long walk along a pretty lake? Visit Lake Atalanta! Want to visit stores that sell Kyle and Maris' work? Check out Kalidescope Collective or Dandy Roll downtown. Downtown Rogers has a ton to offer, and it's 20 minutes from the venue.
