Mobile has a small regional airport about 45 minutes away from downtown Mobile (where the wedding will take place). Unless you are coming directly from Atlanta, Houston, or Dallas, chances are you won't be able to get a direct flight in. Instead, you'll have to connect to one of the aforementioned cities.
Another option is to fly into the regional Pensacola, Florida airport, which as about 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes away from downtown Mobile. Depending on where you're flying from, this could be a significantly cheaper rate. The only caveat is that you will probably need to rent a car or pay an expensive Uber ride fee to get to and from Mobile.
Chris has set up a block rate at this hotel. It is a nice midway point between the Mobile Airport (25 minutes away) and Downtown Mobile (about 15 to 20 minutes away), where the majority of the wedding events will take place. This is best suited for individuals with cars or who plan on carpooling.
A historic, handsome 3-star hotel located downtown for those looking to be closer to the excitement of restaurants and bars and the wedding itself. It's a short Uber ride away from the wedding Chapel and it's a couple minutes walk from the reception venue, Ezell House. This is a good option if you are expecting to be without a car!
In addition to many hotel options, Mobile has a good amount of VRBO and AirBNB rentals. If you chose to go that route, please consider renting in either Midtown Mobile (about 10 minutes from Downtown) or in Downtown Mobile. In Midtown, you'll have the opportunity to rent some lovely historical homes located in quiet, residential neighborhoods. In Downtown, you can find condos and apartments close to nightlife and shopping.
