Our Love Story

Our story began back in Year 12 of high school. Although we weren’t especially close at the time, fate had a different plan for us. It wasn’t until two years after graduation, when mutual friends brought us together, that our friendship truly began to blossom.


What started as casual hangouts soon turned into something special. We grew closer with every shared conversation, late-night adventures, and the simple joy of just spending time together. It was in those moments that we discovered a shared sense of humor, a love for adventure, and an undeniable spark between us.


With the help of our mutual friends, our bond deepened, and before long, we realized that what had started as friendship had blossomed into something much more. Together, we created a world filled with laughter, road trips, and memories that were uniquely ours.


As time passed, our love grew stronger, and our commitment to each other became unshakeable. When we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Amelia, into the world, our love reached new heights. Amelia has brought so much joy, love, and adventure into our lives, and together, as a family, we’ve built a life full of laughter, love, and unforgettable moments.


Now, we’re excited to celebrate this next chapter of our journey with all of you—our family and friends, who have been there from the very beginning. We can’t wait to start this new adventure as partners for life and as a family, and we’re thrilled to have you by our side as we say, “I do.”

Is there accomodation?

If you are unable to safely travel home, there is 6 Glamping Bell Tents for hire. These are $330 for two nights. Each bell tent sleeps two adults. There is also ample space for you to pitch a swag or roof top tent. Unfortunately due to the property location, caravans or large tents cannot be accommodated. When responding to the RSVP, please indicate if you would like to hire a bell tent or if you are camping the night,

What can we get you for your wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! In lieu of presents, we will have a wishing well available for any cards or well wishes you'd like to share. We truly appreciate your love and support.

Are kids allowed?

We're so excited to celebrate with all of you! To ensure a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, we've chosen to make this an adult-only event, with the exception of immediate family. We hope you understand and appreciate our decision.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony starts to ensure a timely start and to enjoy pre-ceremony moments.

What is the dress code?

Our wedding is semi-formal attire. Please feel free to dress comfortably, but we ask that you avoid wearing white (that’s our special colour!).

Is there parking available?

Yes, there will be plenty of parking available at the venue. We encourage carpooling if possible!

Will there be a photographer?

Yes, we’ll have a professional photographer capturing moments throughout the day. Please feel free to take pictures during the reception, but we ask that you leave the ceremony photos to our photographer to ensure the best experience for everyone.

Will there be alcohol provided at the wedding?

Alcohol will be available at the celebration. When submitting your RSVP, please indicate your preferred beverage so we can cater to everyone as thoughtfully as possible. Should you have a specific drink you’d like to enjoy, you are most welcome to bring it along. Ample fridge space and a large cold room will be available on site.

How do I let you know about my dietary requirements?

We want to make sure all of our guests feel included and enjoy the celebration to the fullest. If you have any dietary restrictions or preferences, please let us know when you RSVP. We will do our best to accommodate all needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary requirements. Please feel free to reach out if you have any specific concerns or allergies, and we’ll ensure you have a delicious meal!

Directions to Western Ridge

We’re so excited to have you join us at Western Ridge, located at 351 Freeses Road, Glamorgan Vale Qld.


Here’s how to get there:

Follow Freeses Road all the way to the end.

You’ll encounter cattle grates at the entrance – this is a good sign that you’ve arrived!

There’s ample parking available once you enter.

Please make your way up to the top of the hill, near the house, and await the ceremony to begin.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you! 💕

After the ceremony

After the ceremony, please help yourselves to the grazing board and refreshments. While we’re off getting our photos taken, feel free to enjoy some lawn games and snap a few pics—there are plenty of photo-worthy spots with amazing 360° views. And don’t forget, BYO is welcome—so crack open a drink, relax, and make yourselves at home!

Reception

Dinner will be served at 6 O'Clock. Please see 'The Menu' tab for more details.


This venue does allow BYO alcohol, if there is something you would like to bring, please feel free.


As we get ready to dance the night away, we'd love to hear from you! When you RSVP, feel free to share any song requests that will get you on the dance floor. Whether it’s a classic favorite or a modern hit, we want to make sure everyone has the best time celebrating with us!

Meet our Wedding Party

Heidi
Heidi - Maid of Honour
Heidi and I have been best friends for 24 years, growing up together and sharing all of life’s highs and lows. From childhood sleepovers to navigating the ups and downs of adulthood, Heidi has been my constant support, always there to lift me up with her humor, energy, and unconditional love. As kids, we would beg each other’s mums for sleepovers, knowing full well that if we asked our own mums, the answer would be no! We also spent countless camping trips with each other’s families, and let’s not forget how we’d hijack each other’s family holidays to extend the fun. We even learned to drive in our parents' backyards, much to their surprise! She’s not only my best friend but also someone who knows me better than anyone else. I’m beyond grateful to have her as my Maid of Honour, and I couldn’t imagine celebrating this special day without her. Here’s to a lifetime of more memories, laughter, and adventures together!
Clayton
Clayton - Best Man
Clayton and Kyle’s friendship is one for the books. They met back in Grade 11, and over time, their bond grew stronger. What started as a simple connection eventually turned into a deep friendship, and before long, they became inseparable. Their shared love for cars has played a huge role in that journey. They’ve spent countless hours working on cars, attending car meets, and even hitting up races together—sharing their passion for all things automotive. Since high school, they’ve followed each other through life’s many adventures, often finding themselves in the same jobs without even planning it. From those school days to now, Clayton has been a constant in Kyle’s life, and there’s no better person to stand by his side as his Best Man on this special day. We’re so lucky to have Clayton with us, and we know he’ll bring his support and loyalty to make this day even more memorable!
Zoe
Zoe - Bridesmaid
Zoe and I met in university while studying nursing, and from that moment, our friendship took off. We spent countless hours together in endless uni lectures and late-night study sessions, supporting each other through the ups and downs of nursing school. Before we even graduated, we both landed jobs at a nursing home, where we gained invaluable experience and created memories that will last a lifetime. After graduation, our paths took us to different wards in the hospital, but fate had a way of bringing us back together. We found each other again, this time working side by side on a busy ward, facing challenges and celebrating successes together. Zoe is more than just my bridesmaid; she’s one of my closest friends, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side on this special day. Through it all, she’s been a constant source of support, laughter, and love, and I couldn’t imagine this journey without her!

Max - Groomsman
Kyle and Max’s friendship began in 2021, when they first connected through online gaming. What started as a virtual bond quickly grew into a real-life friendship. Since then, they’ve spent countless weekends hanging out, working on cars, and sharing many new experiences together. From their first game together to navigating life’s ups and downs, Max has been a constant source of support for Kyle. Their bond has only grown stronger, as they've tackled life's challenges and celebrated its joys side by side. Max has become not just a great friend but a true brother, and there’s no one better to stand by Kyle’s side as his Groom's Man on this special day. We’re so grateful to have Max with us, and we know he’ll bring his energy, humor, and unwavering support to make this day even more memorable!

Our beautiful flower girl, Amelia, is the heart of our little family. As our daughter, she brings so much joy and love into our lives every single day. From the moment we found out we were expecting her, we knew she would be the most precious part of our lives, and today, she gets to share in the magic of this special day with us. Amelia will be walking down the aisle with all her charm and energy, making this day even more memorable. We couldn't be happier to have her as part of the celebration!
