Haley and Kyle were set up by their dear friends, Tucker and Sierra, who had the divine epiphany that these two had to meet. And what better occasion than the Apple Cup—WSU Cougars vs. UW Huskies. Thankfully, Kyle was smart enough not to show up in purple. By the grace of God (and maybe a few turnovers), the Cougs pulled off the win. After Kyle witnessed Haley’s post-game victory dance, he was hooked. He knew right then and there that he needed that kind of spice in his life. One game, one dance, one date locked. Game on.

Their first date was filled with laughter, deep conversation, and just the right amount of mischief. From there, they were inseparable.

Soon after, they shared two unforgettable nights seeing their favorite artists live—Kygo and Dashboard Confessional. They danced, sang, and soaked it all in… not knowing that something even bigger was on the horizon.

Not long into their relationship, Haley asked Kyle if he had any trips coming up. He mentioned a getaway to Cabo with his closest friends—only to discover that Haley had a trip planned that same week with her aunts and uncles.

What seemed like a coincidence quickly felt like fate. In the middle of paradise, they had the chance to meet each other’s friends and family, share laughs, and make memories that would be hard to top. Let’s just say… what happens at Cabo Wabo, stays at Cabo Wabo.

A few months in, Haley and Kyle made their way to Arizona for one of Kyle’s friend’s weddings. Between the warm desert air and the laid-back energy of the trip, it was the perfect escape. They spent their time chasing sunsets, relaxing with friends, family, and enjoying the kind of simple, steady connection that just felt easy. This photo says it all—comfortable, content, and exactly where they wanted to be.

On their first holiday tree outing, Haley and Kyle soaked in every moment, knowing they were creating the foundation for lifelong traditions. They playfully debated over ornament placement while choosing decorations that captured both of their vibes. It was a day full of joy, silliness, and the beginning of many holidays together.

Their first trip to Crystal Mountain was nothing short of adventurous. Haley, fearless on her skis, carved her way down the slopes while Kyle did his best to keep up—occasionally pausing to ‘check the view’ (and maybe catch his breath). The day perfectly captured their shared work-hard, play-harder mentality. With more than a sprinkle of friendly competition, it was the kind of adventure that fuels their love for the many hobbies they enjoy together—whether on the mountain, at concerts, traveling, watching sports, playing on their co-ed softball team, bowling, golfing, playing cards, going to the movies, or spending time with family. No espresso martini was harmed during this outing.

For Valentine’s Day, they took their first staycation with Dax at Cave B Winery. A fresh layer of snow turned the weekend into a winter wonderland. Between building a fort (which Dax claimed as his personal suite), soaking in the hot tub, and sampling some of Central Washington’s finest wines, the couple embraced the perfect mix of romance, relaxation, and laughter.

A day on the golf course brought plenty of laughs—especially when Haley’s shots required frequent shouts of “FORE!” Let’s just say she’s not allowed to drive the golf cart again. Kyle may have taken the win that day, but Haley counted her own victory in spending time on the green with her handsome guy.

On the Fourth of July, Kyle proposed in the most intimate and perfect way. Surrounded by the peaceful water and warm summer air, they shared a private moment before celebrating the news with friends and family. Fireworks lit the night sky, it was the perfect end to the perfect evening as they floated on cloud nine.
