Our Wedding

Kyle and Amanda originally met at Western Michigan University through Greek life - Alpha Phi and Pi Kappa Alpha. They were acquaintances at the time and ran into one another at parties (Kyle recalls holding Amanda's legs up for a keg stand LOL), as well as through Greek week where their fraternity and sorority were paired together. Although they weren't friends in college, they reconnected after graduation. In 2018, one of Amanda's sorority sisters (Shoutout Nicole!!) told Kyle to slide into Amanda's DMs. Amanda was in Florida on a family vacation at the time and Kyle commented on a video of Amanda and her dad on Snapchat. They started messaging back and forth and Kyle said he was "new to the area and wanted to meet new people." Come to find out, Kyle had ONLY moved 15 minutes down the road.... soooo new to the area! But hey, it worked! Amanda agreed to meet up when she returned to Michigan and they continued to get to know one another as friends. They both quickly realized they had more feelings for each other and the turning point was after they attended a Chris Lane concert. Their love blossomed from there with lots of travel, beautiful memories, and the rest is history! Kyle and Amanda are beyond excited to start a new chapter as Mr. and Mrs.

If you're flying into Traverse City, the closest airport to our venue <a href="https://www.harborbrookhall.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Harbor Brook Hall</a> and many accommodations is the <a href="https://tvcairport.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Cherry Capital Airport, </a>approximately a 5-10 minute drive or Uber. While we don't have a reserved room block, there are plenty of great options for your stay! The wedding venue is surrounded by a variety of hotels, resorts, Airbnbs and VRBOs, many of which are just a short walk away. Please note that most hotels in the area during this time of year require a two-night minimum stay, so we recommend booking early to secure your spot. Whether you're looking for a cozy hotel or a resort on the beach, you'll find the perfect place to relax and enjoy the wedding weekend!
