Our Story 

Kyle and Chloe's journey together is one of love, adventure, and unwavering companionship. Having met in high school, their bond quickly grew into something deep and lasting, and after almost nine years together, their connection has only become stronger. Along the way, they welcomed two adorable sausage dogs into their lives, adding even more joy to their shared story. The couple's love took them across the world to the UK, where they've embraced new experiences and opportunities. Now, as they prepare to marry, their journey is about to enter a beautiful new chapter, one built on years of cherished memories and a promising future together.

Our Story

We are so excited to invite you to celebrate our wedding on the 17th of May 2025 at the beautiful Florence Guest Farm in Chrissiesmeer, near Ermelo, South Africa. This will be a weekend celebration, starting with pre-wedding festivities on Friday, followed by our special day on Saturday. We would love for you to join us for this unforgettable occasion, surrounded by nature and the people we hold dear. The venue offers on-site accommodation for up to 80 guests, so you can stay and fully immerse yourself in the celebrations. We can't wait to share this joyous moment with all of you and create memories that will last a lifetime!

We kindly request that guests dress in all black formal attire for our wedding, with the exception of the bride and groom. This means elegant black dresses and suits—think chic and sophisticated! We wanted to create a timeless and stylish atmosphere for our special day, and we’d love for you to be a part of it.&nbsp;

Information 

Shelly is my partner in crime, the one who makes every moment an adventure. From dancing to our favorite songs to riding 947 together, we’ve shared endless memories. Our video calls are full of laughter, and even when we were neighbors, our conversations over the wall were never dull. We’ve created so many inside jokes that always send us into belly laughs, no matter the time of day. Shelly is my constant source of joy, and with her, life is always a little brighter and a lot more fun.

Her support and thoughtfulness never go unnoticed, and I’m so grateful for the bond we share. Chane is truly someone I can always count on, no matter what life throws our way.

Over the past few years, we've become really close, and she’s always up for some banter, ready to laugh at anything and everything. Whether it's a spontaneous adventure or a random laugh, Megan is always game and brings a spark of joy wherever she goes.

Since welcoming little Ava into our lives as our goddaughter, Ashley and I have become even closer. She’s incredibly independent and hardworking, always juggling everything with such grace. I love how she’s always on video calls with her 'Cuzz', staying connected no matter the distance. She never wants to miss out on plans, and her energy and enthusiasm light up every moment we share. I’m so grateful to have Ashley in my life—she’s a constant source of support and joy, and I truly cherish our bond.

Keagan is hands down the funniest person I know. His quick wit and sense of humor can turn any situation into a laugh-out-loud moment. As the laid-back middle child, he has this effortlessly chill vibe that makes him so easy to be around. Despite being the middle, Keagan is incredibly loving and always there when you need him, offering support in his own relaxed, yet thoughtful way. He’s the kind of person who brings a sense of calm and joy to everything he does, and I’m so grateful to have him as my brother.

Kaiden, my younger brother, may be bigger than me now, but he’ll always be my little brother at heart. Growing up, he was cheeky and naughty, always getting into mischief and keeping us on our toes. But as he's grown, I’ve seen him develop into such an incredible person with a heart of gold. He’s caring, thoughtful, and has a way of making everyone around him feel special. I’m beyond proud of the man he’s becoming, and even though we had our moments growing up, I wouldn’t change a thing. Watching him grow has been one of the greatest joys, and I’m excited for the future he’s building for himself.

Lloyd is one of those friends who always knows how to give the best advice, no matter the situation. With his loud mouth and infectious energy, he never fails to bring laughter and excitement to any room. He played a huge role in helping me plan the engagement, offering his support and ideas every step of the way. His humor is unmatched, and he truly knows how to keep things fun. More than that, Lloyd puts a lot of effort into our friendship, always making sure we stay connected and making me feel valued. I’m lucky to have him by my side!

He’s been my drinking partner through many nights of good conversation, and no matter what, we always have a great time together. He’s a true friend, and our bond only grows stronger with time.

I’m lucky to have him by my side for all the fun and chaos we create together!

Connah is like the older brother I never had, always looking out for me in his own unique way. We’ve spent countless hours at each other's houses, whether it was just hanging out or getting into mischief. He’s my ultimate drinking partner, always up for a good time, but also the first to start bullying and irritating me. Despite all the teasing, I know he’s always got my back, and our banter is what makes our bond so strong. He’s a solid friend, someone who knows how to keep things fun and lighthearted, and I wouldn’t trade him for anything.

Bryan and I met at BMX, and to be honest, I didn’t like him at first! But over time, we built a solid friendship, and now, I’m so glad we did. We can sit and talk for hours, whether it’s about life, BMX, or just random things that come to mind. He’s become a good friend, someone I can count on, and I’ve learned to appreciate his perspective and sense of humor. It’s funny how things can change, and I’m grateful for how our friendship has grown.

Madison, my little sister, is full of personality and always keeps things interesting with her cheeky antics. We may bump heads from time to time, but deep down, I’m so proud of the person she’s becoming. Her energy, sass, and unique sense of humor bring so much life to everything she does. Even when we clash, I wouldn’t trade her for anything, and I’m beyond grateful that she came into my life. She’s my little sunshine, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Khendra, Kyle's sister, is such a blessing to have in our lives. I feel so lucky to be gaining her as a sister too. 1. Is there accommodation available on-site?Yes! Florence Guest Farm has accommodation available for up to 80 guests. Rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to book early if you’d like to stay on-site. Accommodation is to be booked and paid with Kyle/Chloe. Please do not contact the venue for any accommodation related queries. 2. When can I arrive, and what should I expect on the weekend?You’re welcome to arrive on Friday, May 16th, 2025, to kick off the weekend with pre-wedding celebrations. We have a casual get-together planned that evening, with plenty of time to mingle and relax before the big day and playing some games to break the ice. The ceremony and reception will take place on Saturday, May 17th, and we’re planning a relaxed brunch on Sunday morning for anyone staying on-site. 3. What kind of food will be served at the wedding?We are having a beautiful buffet-style reception, featuring a mix of local and international dishes to suit all tastes. There will be plenty of options for vegetarians and anyone with dietary restrictions — just let us know when you RSVP, and we’ll ensure you have something delicious to enjoy. 4. What should I wear?We have chosen an all-black dress code for our wedding to create an elegant and timeless atmosphere. We kindly ask that all guests wear black attire—whether it’s a stunning black dress, a sharp black suit, or anything in between. The only exceptions are the bride and groom, who will, of course, be in their special outfits!We can't wait to see everyone dressed in chic, sophisticated black to help make this day truly unforgettable. 5. Can I bring a plus one?To help us manage the details of our special day, we kindly ask that only those guests specifically addressed on the invitation attend. As much as we'd love to invite everyone, due to venue capacity and logistical considerations, we are unable to accommodate additional plus ones.Thank you for understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! 6. Are children allowed?In order to create a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. The only exception will be the children in the bridal party, who will, of course, be a part of the festivities.We hope you understand and appreciate our decision. 7. What time can check in from?If you're coming on Friday, you can arrive anytime from 2 PM onwards. If you're arriving on Saturday, you can come at any time that works best for you! 8. Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?The ceremony will take place outdoors, weather permitting. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll relocate it indoors. However, the reception will be held indoors. 9. Is there a wedding registry?As we live abroad, it would be difficult for us to take any household items with us. While we don’t expect any gifts, if you would like to give us something, we would greatly appreciate contributions towards our house and honeymoon fund. Your generosity means the world to us, and we are so grateful for your support as we start this new chapter together. 10. What will the weather be like?In May, the weather in Chrissiesmeer, South Africa, is typically cool and autumnal. Average temperatures range from about 8°C in the early mornings and evenings to around 20°C during the day. It’s a great time of year to enjoy the outdoors with pleasant, mild conditions. While rainfall is possible, it's generally not as frequent as in the summer months, making May a relatively dry month. However, it’s always a good idea to be prepared for cooler evenings and mornings, so bringing layers or a light jacket is recommended. 11. What time should I be at seated?The ceremony will begin at 2:30 PM. Please make sure to arrive before then to be seated for 2PM If you're unable to arrive in time, we recommend staying overnight the night before to ensure you don't miss it! 12. When must I RSVP by?﻿Please RSVP by the 17th of April 2025. 13. Is there anything else we should know?We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Be sure to pack comfortable shoes for dancing, bring a jacket or sweater for the evening (as it can get chilly in the evenings), and most importantly, come ready to have fun and make memories. We can't wait to share this unforgettable weekend with all of you!

Registry

The venue can host up to 62 adults and 7 children, with specific rooms set aside for the immediate family of the bride and groom. The details of the remaining available rooms are listed below: The rooms (4 - 10) each accommodate 2 guests and are available at R740 per person per night. For a more unique experience, we also offer 15 glamping tents, each sleeping 2 people, with access to communal ablution facilities. These tents are priced at R580 per person per night. In addition, we have an extra room that accommodates up to 5 people, featuring a queen-sized bed and a sleeper bed for added comfort. This is also priced at R740 per person, per night. There are also guest houses available in the area. If you'd like more details or need assistance with bookings, please feel free to contact Kyle or Chloe. Accommodation is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The bridal party will be staying with the bride and groom the night before the wedding. Kindly ensure that all accommodation payments are made at least 3 weeks prior to the wedding to confirm your reservation.
