We met in June 2019 unexpectedly at the Beirut. In 2016, Kyle had donated a wheelchair accessible shower in my best friend Rachael’s home, for her son Jamey, who suffers with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. It was an answer to a make a wish, put in by a friend, on the Christian radio station. Kyle and Rachael/Kenny had been friends since. I had just completed a fundraiser with Rachael and family for a much needed mattress for Jamey. We were going to get the mattress, and have lunch. Rachael told me on the way there, that we were going to meet her friend Kyle. He shared his testimony with me over lunch, and there was such a good connect. He also came to the mattress store, and when it was time to purchase it with our fundraiser money, Kyle took care of it! I was so impressed with his generosity and kindness for Jamey! After quite some time that went by, we ran into each other at the same place (again unexpected) and an hour away from my home. We began dating in 2021. There was time away from eachother in between then and now, but things that are meant to be, have a way of working things out. It just makes you cherish the person even more. I am so thankful for my soul mate, and my partner for life! I am also thankful to God for our gift of eternal love that we share.
