Our Wedding

Kyle and Melinda met through a mutual friend. They had an instant connection and began adventuring together. Their first adventure was to the New Hampshire ice castles where they also spent the weekend hiking nearby trails and Cannon mountain. They still try and make it up to New Hampshire every year to hike the same mountain. 

How we met 

The first year of our relationship flew by and before we knew it we were celebrating our 1 year anniversary. We spent the year hiking, adventuring, exploring and falling in love.

Year One

Our second year together we wanted to travel to far away places but COVID was still complicating travel. We spent the year traveling the United States and getting to know each other’s families. Family is so important to both of us and we are lucky to have such supportive and loving families. 

Year two 

2022 was a big year for us. We began to focus on our careers and start to build our life together. We started on plans for a house and started weaving our lives together. By the end of 2022 we had moved into our first home together. We did a lot of growing that year both as individuals and as a couple.

Year Three

Yet another action packed year! Kyle proposed in 2023 and both of us became licensed in our profession. We also welcomed our first puppy into our home. 

Year 4 

2024 we spent the year settling into our careers and our little family. By the end of 2024 we had two dogs, 3 cats and a home full of love and laughter. We spent the year reconnecting after so many years of schooling that kept us from our favorite activities like hiking and exploring. We feel even more in love that year. 

Year 5 

And that brings us up to date! 2025 is the year we tie the knot! We have been working tirelessly planning the wedding and preparing to join ourselves in marriage. We are so excited to share our special day with you all. We have many happy years behind us and look forward to many more going forward. 

Year 6 

Our Story

Kyle proposed to Melinda on Block Island by the North lighthouse. They walked the entirety of the beach where there was a beautiful blanket and music playing. Kyle’s mom, sister and step-dad made a beautiful scene where Kyle dropped to one knee and asked Melinda to marry him. And then they rode off into the sunset to live happily ever after.

Our Little Family

<p style="text-align: left;">Our little family began with Max and Mushu our two kittens back in 2022. Leo our first puppy came into the family in 2023 and finally welcomed Pepper our last puppy and Momo our kitten in 2024!<br /></p>
