Poh's to be exact. (Which is still puzzling due to Kyle's hatred of the bar... I guess God knew what he was doing in that moment.) It was December of 2018. I was sitting at a table chatting with some friends and playing darts. We were all home on college break, having some beers, and hanging out. The night continued like normal and all of a sudden someone caught my eye at the bar. It was Kyle. We caught each other's gazes and for the rest of the night I found myself constantly looking to see if he was still there. The night went on and we never did talk, but our story had just begun...

The next day I was subbing at school when my phone lit up with a Facebook friend request from Kyle Sheehy. I hadn't stopped thinking about him since the night before and immediately accepted the request. (I clearly didn't care how desperate it made me look... haha.) All day long I thought for sure he would message me, but... a couple days went by and nothing! With no communication from Kyle I decided to download Tinder and see if he was out there. I swiped for what seemed hours until I found him. We matched and he FINALLY messaged me. And that was the beginning to our forever... Not going to lie, I am still shocked that Poh's and Tinder are to thank for bringing us together.

Eventually I had to go to back to Eau Claire for my last semester in college. Having distance within a brand new relationship sure had its struggles and we started to move in different directions. Though we grew apart, we found each other again just as fast.

When I moved back to Sturgeon Bay we had already decided to rekindle our spark. We moved in with each other a month later and most definitely had our growing pains but I would not have had it any other way.

Within the last two years we have started building our family with the addition of our perfectly sassy pup, Murphy Mae. We continually take on new projects. We've visited St. Thomas, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and the Grand Turks. We have grow as individuals as a couple and created countless unforgettable memories. I can say with certainty I have found my best friend in the person I am going to marry. I love him with every piece of my being and cannot wait for our forever to begin.
