While the ceremony and reception are located outside, this may change according to weather conditions. Please plan accordingly when choosing attire, the pathways are paved but the parking lot is gravel.

The Mohicans does not have great cellular service. We encourage you to take a look at their website in advance to see more details about the venue. We will attach a directions sheet with your wedding invitation. The same directions can also be found on travel tab.

“Hi, I’m Mandy, I am the brides twin sister and womb mate! I met Kyle in high school and shortly after, he and Aimee started dating and the rest is history! When they first started dating I would always tag along with them and it was really sweet because it didn’t seem like they minded me being there! I love their dedication to each other and how they hold each other accountable. Even before they started dating Aimee wouldn’t let Kyle ask her out until after track states so they could both focus on that and then start their relationship. From that moment on I knew I could trust Kyle to take care of Aimee. I love how they both grow individually and as a couple and don’t let other things get in their way. They have always been a great couple and I know they are going to make each other very happy for the rest of their lives!”

"From the moment Aimee and I met at the Twinsburg Pet Lodge, our friendship blossomed quickly, despite our short time working together. We learned we had the same major, in the same grade, at the same college. We made sure to schedule classes together, studied side by side, and even memorized every Lake Erie fish we could. I didn't know Aimee before she met Kyle, so it's impossible to picture her without him. Watching them grow together over the past four years I've known them has been a heartwarming experience, and I'm beyond excited to see the endless love and happiness they will continue to find in each other.

“I met Aimee pretty much when I was born. We got to grow up together and we shared so many life moments. We were in classes together, did sports together, and hung out together in similar friend groups. I met Kyle when we were in elementary school because our sisters were friends. I didn’t really become friends with him until high school. We both started out pretty socially awkward in high school, but we have grown “less awkward” together. Kyle and Aimee work so well together. They complement each other’s personalities wonderfully. It has been so great to watch them grow as a couple throughout the years. I can’t wait to be next to them on their big day!”

I met Aimee in band and we became friends instantly. We grew closer in high school and we have been super close ever since then. She is an amazing person and friend. I met Kyle briefly during soccer in high school. We didn’t talk that much, but a little later during indoor track was when I got to know him very well. We have been best friends ever since and I am honored to be his best man in this wedding. I couldn’t be any happier for these two, and I wish them a long and happy marriage.

“I met Kyle on the playground in the first grade. The two of us often had class together, played sports together and rode the bus together. During college, I lived with him for all four years. I met Aimee during track in high school and the two of us became friends very fast. Eventually Aimee moved to an apartment that was about 30 steps away, so naturally she practically lived with us. This put me in the unique position of really watching these two grow over the years as a couple and let me just say they are meant for each other. You can tell they are truly in love and I can’t wait to be a part of their special day!”

Kyle was my first friend when I first moved here and over the years our friendship had continued to grow and man we have had some crazy times together. I met Aimee a few years later in high school during track  when I started doing hurdles my Junior Year. Directions to The Mohicans &amp; Wedding Venue Main EntranceCheck out our HOME PAGE for any detours! Please note, service in the area can be very limited with many spots having no service at all. If you choose to use your GPS, you will need to start your route prior to arriving in the immediate area. The only paved road in the area is Wally Road, you will otherwise find yourself lost on unpaved rural back roads of Knox County with no cell service.Please print or screenshot these directions and bring them with you.If you are staying at a cabin/treehouse, use your arrival information to direct you to your specific property/driveway and the site map on the home page of our website. The best cell service is in the wedding venue parking lot. Most guests can get service at this location. 4-wheel/all-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended, especially in the winter months with snow &amp; ice. If there is inclement weather, please plan accordingly.Directions for Guests coming through Loudonville from the North on Rt.3⦁ Follow Wally Road south for approx. 8 miles from the intersection of State Route 3 and Wally Road in Loudonville.⦁ Turn right on Vess Road (also called Township Road 357 on some maps). You will see a little white 1800’s schoolhouse near the corner. The road splits shortly after you make that turn-Stay RIGHT (if you stay left you will be on Big Hill Road which is the wrong way).⦁ Continue on Vess Road for approx. 0.8 miles (it is uphill most of the way). Across from an open field and a green oil tank will be the driveway to The Mohicans Treehouse Resort and Wedding Venue on the right. The Mohicans sign is located at the entrance. Once in Greer, turn onto Wally Road (Wally Road dead ends into State Route 514) and travel 1.6 miles to Vess Road (also called Township Road 357 on some maps) which enters on your left.⦁ Turn right on Vess Road (also called Township Road 357 on some maps). On-site accommodations are available but are on a first come first serve basis. Please contact Aimee or Kyle if you are interested in priority booking as the dates will not be available on website without guest code. Previews of these accommodations can be found on The Mohicans website.

Various Airbnb and VRBOs are located in the area. Contact Aimee or Kyle if you would like help finding one for your group!

If you prefer to stay in a hotel, The Mohican Lodge and Conference Center has many rooms. We do not recommend this option, as it has a late check-in time and we would hate for you to miss the start of the ceremony!
