Welcome to the Wedding of Kyle and Olivia Stephens- Lets Celebrate! 

Olivia and Heather met on the first day of college in 2017. They have been best friends, doing everything together from studying abroad, to traveling, to living together for many years. Olivia fondly refers to Heather as the "first" love of her life!

Heather Lewis 

Gwyn is one of Olivia's best friends from her days in University at John Carroll. Gwyn was the first person in Olivia's life to meet Kyle, and knew he was the one for her from the start. Kyle quickly learned that where Olivia was, Gwyn was not far away. Gwyn is now just as much a friend to Kyle and she is Olivia. We are so proud to have Gwyn be a part of the wedding.

Hadley and Olivia have shared years of friendship and fun. Hadley is the mother of the flower girl, Stella Hoover (French bulldog). Hadley has been a loyal and loving friend to both Kyle and Olivia, and will be standing next to them on their wedding day.

Amanda, Kyle’s older sister, is known for her ability to quickly become everyone’s best friend. Her infectious energy fills any room she enters, and it’s impossible not to have fun when she’s around. From the very beginning, Amanda was one of the biggest supporters of Kyle and Olivia's relationship, always encouraging them and showing just how much she cares.

Brett has been one of Kyle's best sources of wisdom since they met at Miami University. While Brett is known as the life of the party, it was his drive to achieve big goals and his selfless nature that deepened their bond. Over the years, they’ve tackled many challenges together—like running a marathon or spring breaking at a honeymoon resort. Kyle is so excited to finally be able to call him his best man.

Jonathan took Kyle under his wing when he first moved to California, quickly becoming both a friend and adventure buddy. He taught Kyle how to surf, introduced him to the world of truly spicy foods, and always pushed him to step outside his comfort zone. Their countless adventures over the years are filled with unforgettable memories. Kyle is lucky to call him one of his closest friends.

Jonathan Ascencio 

Adam is Heather Lewis’s boyfriend and came into Kyle's life soon after he and Olivia started dating. From the start, Adam welcomed Kyle into the group, and they've been close friends ever since. Adam is one of the most motivated people Kyle has ever met, and his relentless drive has inspired Kyle to embrace new challenges. If you ever get the chance, make sure to ask him what it takes to be an Ironman—he’ll tell you all about it!

Jay, the brother of the bride, is the true source of humor for this wedding party. He’s also the best skier of the group—though Olivia might argue otherwise! Jay has always been a strong support system for Olivia throughout her life and immediately welcomed Kyle with open arms when he came into Olivia’s life. Kyle and Olivia are both so grateful for Jay’s unwavering support and are excited to have him be such an important part of this special day.

Sam has been Kyle's lifelong friend, sharing countless milestones from high school and college to adventures on the water and on the course. Whether jet skiing or playing golf, Sam has been a constant source of fun and support. His steady faith and guidance have also been instrumental in strengthening Kyle’s Christian journey.

Morgan was one of Kyle’s first close friends after moving to California, and he’s been a mix of crazy fun and deep wisdom ever since. Whether he’s ripping around on a motorcycle or showing up unannounced just to make you laugh, Morgan knows how to keep things lively. Beneath the wild side, he has a spiritual depth that has been instrumental in Kyle's walk with God.

Where to stay?

One chilly December night on lake Erie, Olivia was coming home from drinks with her best friends, and Kyle from dinner with his parents, Joan and Darren. They both stepped into the elevator, not knowing, that they would never spend another day apart. With a simple conversation and a few laughs, they walked into their separate apartments just two doors apart. When they parted ways, they each had their own version of feeling like their new neighbor friend was going to turn into an important person in their life, they just didn't realize how important they would really be for one another. Kyle and Olivia spent the next month finding every reason to knock on each others door. From borrowing a bottle of olive oil, asking for recommendations on restaurants and local spots for a drink, to needing help with puzzles, drinking a bottle of wine, or cooking dinner. Every day Olivia would come home from work, and go straight to Kyles door to get her afternoon fix of his company and smile. Kyle would patiently wait, making sure to be home around 4:45. Each little knock became a reason to chat, laugh, and linger in each other’s doorways. Knocks on the door turned into notes, then requests for a date, then love letters back and forth each day. This is still going on to this day. By the time February rolled around, they were nothing short of infatuated. They quickly become one another's favorite dinner date, travel companion, errand partner. Sharing the same hobbies made spending every day together easy. By this time, both Kyle and Olivia knew that the connection they shared was special. There was something about the way that they shared ideas, listened to one another, and understood each others humor that made it feel like they had known each other for many years. One year later, on another chilly Cleveland December night, Kyle (in true Kyle fashion) surprised the world, including Olivia, and got down on one knee. Before the words "Will you Mary me?" were spoken, she was saying "yes!" Here we are a few months later gathering our most beloved family and friends together to celebrate our wedding day, and the commitment we are making to one another. We are thrilled to have you celebrate with us!
