Kyle rented a Tesla Model Y, and took Jamie on a surprise vacation/getaway, which he planned starting in December of 2022. We got engaged on 5/5/2023 in Big Water, UT at Under Canvas. Kyle got down on one knee and proposed in the tent and Jamie said “Yes” and almost fainted from happiness. Cinco de Mayo is special to us because we love Tacos. Our first date was at a Mexican restaurant.

As a couple and family we like hiking, going to the gym, taking walks, vacations (especially up north and to California), golf, cooking, dinner, relaxing, taking naps, movies, TV shows, spending quality time together and having fun. Happy spouse, happy house. Kyle and Jamie are each other’s “Ride or Die.”

Our first day engaged we spent time at Antelope Canyon, Lake Powell and Horseshoe Bend in Page, AZ. Lake Powell is Jamie’s favorite place on earth.

Aeriana, Jamie’s daughter, was born on 7/5/2009. Aeriana has been Jamie’s biggest blessing in her life. Jamie has raised Aeriana as a single mom, since Aeriana’s birth.

Kyle and Aeriana get along very well, they are both silly and smart. Kyle is a wonderful role-model and will make the most amazing step-father. We are happy to expand our family, including four fur babies: Fiona, Princess, Snowberry and Carmel. We love our kitties.

Kyle was born in Pontiac, Michigan on 10/9/1984.

Kyle's parents are Phil and Carol Thompson.

Kyle's older brother, Brandon Philip Thompson was born on 10/3/1983. Brandon passed away 8-days after birth. Kyle is an only child.

Career wise, Kyle is a Network Engineer for the City of Phoenix Fire Department. Kyle loves to help the community.

Kyle's favorite hobbies include being a car enthusiast, technology, working out, biking, golf, DIY projects, grilling, going to the shooting range, watching supercross and watching sports.

Kyle's favorite foods are Mexican, steak, and burgers.

Jamie was born in Phoenix, AZ on 3/13/1978.

Jamie's parents are Linda Timmerman (mother), Gary and Nida Timmerman (father and stepmother), and Rita Timmerman (previous stepmother).

Jamie has a younger sister, Julie Jones (7/7/1982) who is married to Geof Jones.

Jamie works as a Caseworker II for the City of Phoenix Fire Department, Community Assistance Program (CAP), as a crisis responder. Jamie also works part-time, as a School Psychologist, in the Paradise Valley Unified School District (PVUSD). Jamie has a passion for helping others and trying to improve our state by improving mental wellness in the community.

Jamie's favorite hobbies include working out, weightlifting, CrossFit, golf, hanging out with friends and family, going to the lake, and basketball. Jamie's favorite thing to do is to go to Suns games and to also watch the Suns games on television. Go Suns!

Jamie's favorite foods are tacos, steak, and sushi.

Kyle got his Tesla on 7/28/2022. Being from Michigan, Kyle is a car enthusiast. Kyle loves the simplicity and technology of Tesla's. Jamie got her Tesla July 9, 2023. Jamie enjoys the acceleration speed of an Electric Vehicle (EV) and not having to put gas in the car. Our dream car is a Cyber Truck.
