Student teaching was winding down and I was helping Courtney with her last minute wedding plans. I would go over to talk about all things wedding, but then Matt would “randomly” show up every time. Monday night rolled around and it was Bachelor Night! Matt was so excited to hang out that he may have gotten a pretty big speeding ticket in the process. Since that moment we knew this was something special.

From stealing his sweatshirt to competitive game nights, our first date at sushi and then being his wedding date, we have made so many amazing memories. Most involve our closest family and friends, which is the only way we would have it. But, our greatest adventure started January 6, 2023 when he took me by surprise and made this last forever.

I knew Matt was the one because he keeps me safe, and always has chicken tenders on hand. Matt said he knew I was the one because I make my own ranch… and that’s a game changer.

We can’t wait to be married and spend forever together. Here’s to me stealing one more thing from you- your last name.
