Kylee and Brandon’s journey began in October 2021 when Brandon finally worked up the courage to send Kylee a DM. That message led to their first lunch date at Half Moon Brewery. Confident things would go well, Brandon took a leap of faith and bought tickets for a Colts game, hoping for a second date. During their date, the conversation flowed easily—until the moment Kylee confessed she hadn’t yet told her mom, who happened to be Brandon’s high school English teacher. For a brief moment, a second date seemed uncertain. Thankfully, things worked out, and the Colts game became just the beginning of their journey together. Over the past three years, their relationship has been an adventure—filled with traveling, making memories with friends, sharing laughter, enduring pranks from Kyle, and even creating a few cringe-worthy TikToks. Along the way, they’ve celebrated milestones like the adoption of Millie, Kylee's mini-bernedoodle, Kylee’s college graduation and first teaching job, Brandon relocating to Kokomo and then Sharpsville, and getting a glimpse of life as the fiancé (and soon-to-be husband!) of an elementary school teacher. They’ve also learned to embrace their differences—like their rivalries between Purdue and IU, and the Colts and the Packers—realizing that perfection isn’t necessary when love is in the mix. Now, they can’t wait to continue their lifelong journey together, one adventure at a time!

Our Story

Haley and Kylee have been best friends since as long as we both can remember. We have so many memories together, and I can not wait to make more memories as Haley being one of my bridesmaids on the big day.

Taylor and Kylee have been best friends since 3rd grade. Through the years, Taylor and Kylee have grown closer and would often spent every minute of everyday together growing up. We have talked about this day for many many years and I am so excited to have Taylor standing right next to me on this big day!

Megan and Kylee met when Kylee was in middle school. From vacations, moving houses, and Megan having her first baby we have been through a lot together. I can not wait to have Megan standing by me on July 12th, 2025!

Abbi and Kylee met at IUK when we both started the elementary education program. I am so excited to have Abbi next to me on this special day!

Lauren and Kylee both teach Kindergarten together! If we are not at the school, then we are either with each other or facetiming each other! I can't wait to have Lauren standing next to me on our big day!

Mitchell and Brandon met in elementary school where their friendship has continued to grow throughout the years! Fast forward 20 years and they are spending every other weekend together golfing, or watching football. Mitchell is the perfect fit for this role on our big day!

Sam and Brandon also met in elementary school and they haven't skipped a beat since then! Sam is one of those friends that you can always count on and know will always make you laugh. The amount of memories Brandon has with Sam couldn't even be counted. Time spent with Sam is time well spent and we can't wait to have him be a part of the big day!

Sam Moss

Dillon and Brandon have been friends since elementary and also share a birthday, which is also Kylee's birthday (crazy!). Dillon is always down for a deep talk or any discussion that involves strategy and critical thinking. He also is known for letting his car run out of gas lol. Dillon is one of the best dudes you could know and will be a great addition to the big day!

Matt and Brandon met in elementary school, which probably comes as no surprise at this point. Matt loves traditions so an annual walleye trip and an annual ski trip have become part of the friendship routine. Matt is someone who will always keep you in line and we love that about him. Looking forward to having him stand with me on the big day!

Matthew Dorris

Tanner (Kylee's brother) and Brandon have known each other for a while, but have really gotten closer over the past three and a half years. Tanner is such a jokester and there is never a dull moment with him. Brandon and him can frequently be found talking basketball and coaching. They both also share a love for golf! Tanner may not always be on time, but he will always be there for those he cares about. We can't wait to have him be a part of our big day.

Tanner Fernung

Zach was one of Brandon's first ever friends in elementary school. They have made many memories of playing nintendo video games and being chased around by his little sister with her makeup. They created a lot of memories early on that Brandon still has not forgotten. Zach is one of the most reliable people and can build/fix just about anything. We can't wait to have him be a part of the big day!

Shaun and Brandon have also been friends since elementary school. They have memories of jumping on the trampoline, family euchre parties, 4th of July parties, and playing sports together. Shaun is one of the quietest people, but also one of the most caring. We can't wait to have him be a part of the big day!
