Is there a dress code?

Dress code is black tie optional/cocktail– we would love for our guests to use this as an opportunity to dress up with us! Suits and a mix of gowns and elegant cocktail dresses are welcome! We HIGHLY encourage color!

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Our ceremony will start promptly at 2 PM. We suggest arriving at the venue 20-30 minutes early to get settled in.

Where should I stay for the weekend?

Please find our list of recommended hotels in the Downtown Louisville area listed under the “Travel” tab.

Are kids invited?

As much as we love your little ones, due to the limited capacity at our venue, we will not be able to accommodate children.

Can I bring a guest?

Due to limited venue capacity we will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Are ceremony and reception in the same location?

No, our ceremony is at St. Francis of Assisi in Louisville, Kentucky. Our reception is at The Vista at Origin Park in Clarksville, Indiana.

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Our ceremony will be held indoors. Our cocktail hour and reception will be held both outdoors and indoors.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! We encourage guests to create a plan to get home safely.

What if I can’t make it?

You will be dearly missed – but if you aren’t able to make it, please let us know as soon as you can via an RSVP, so we can plan accordingly.

Can I take photos?

We would like to encourage our guests to be fully present during our ceremony, so we ask all phones/devices be put away and silenced. After the ceremony, feel free to snap photos of anything and everything!
