In the small town of Riverdale, California, Blake and Kylee grew up knowing each other—its hard not to in a town as small as Riverdale. But their story didn’t truly begin until much later. It was Kylee’s freshman year of high school when she first caught Blake’s eye. They started talking and crossing paths more often, until one day, Blake finally gathered the courage to ask Kylee out. Naturally, with her blunt and honest nature, she turned him down. However, things took an unexpected turn at that year’s homecoming when their friends convinced them to take a picture together. Kylee had requested the photo, and from that moment on, they couldn’t stop talking. A few dates and ice cream runs later, Blake asked Kylee to be his girlfriend on October 4, 2018. Over 7 years, they’ve created countless memories, weathering both the highs and lows of life together, growing stronger as a couple. Then, on January 25, 2025, after another ice cream date, Blake dropped to one knee and asked Kylee to marry him. After a brief moment of shock and disbelief, Kylee said yes, and Blake slipped the beautiful diamond onto her finger. Their story may not be perfect, but it’s uniquely theirs—and they’ve both chosen forever.
