We met in April 2020 and pretty much haven’t left each other’s side since. It ended up being something that just felt natural and easy for both of us. A few months later we moved in together, and that’s really when everything started.

One thing we’ve always made a point to do is take a trip every year for our anniversary. It’s kind of become our thing, and we look forward to it every year.

For our 5-year anniversary, we decided to go to the mountains and spend some time around Asheville. One of the things we had planned was visiting the Biltmore Estate. I thought we were just going to walk around, see the gardens, and enjoy the day—but Nick had something way bigger planned.

While we were walking through the gardens, he completely surprised me with the proposal. He even had a photographer there capturing the whole thing without me knowing. In the middle of all the excitement, the ring actually took a little tumble, which just made the moment even more “us” and gave us something to laugh about after.

2025 turned into such a big year for us. Within one month (still crazy to think about), we got engaged and bought our first home. Now we’re living in our dream first home with our two cats and starting this next chapter together.

We feel really lucky to have such great friends and family around us, and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone we love.
