The love story started in 2015 at Lake Fenton High School. Riley and Kylee shared a few classes in school but began to gravitate toward each other through mutual friends, football games, and Lake Fenton Theater. They officially started dating on February 8th, 2015.

Riley asked Kylee to his senior prom and they danced the night away on a boat on the Detroit River.

Kylee and Riley celebrated Riley's High School Graduation! She was his biggest cheerleader with his family. Everyone was so proud of Riley for all of his hard work.

Kylee started her first job at Bob Evans as a waitress. Riley was always a supportive boyfriend, surprising her at work just to make her smile!

During her Junior High School Musical, Riley was Kylee's biggest fan (or close second to her mom). She played Scuttle in Lake Fenton's The Little Mermaid. Riley celebrated her opening night with a seashell charm for her Pandora bracelet.

Kylee asked Riley to her Junior prom. They took their prom photos at Lake Fenton's Millpond Park with her family and friends.

For Kylee's senior spring break, Riley joined her family and friends in Montego Bay, Jamaica! They had the best time on the beach, snorkeling, exploring the local flee markets, and spending time together.

During Kylee's senior year, they continued to date and spend lots of time together in Fenton! They loved trying new restaurants, going to the movies, and hanging out with friends.

In August 2018, Kylee went away to Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI, for college. Riley always made it a priority to visit her on the weekends. They loved exploring Grand Rapids together and enjoying a new chapter of their relationship.

Riley planned Kylee's 21st birthday party at Antihero in Ferndale, Michigan, with their family and friends from college! Her first legal drink was a sake bomb.

Before COVID-19, Riley and Kylee went on an adventure on a cruise! They stopped in Turks and Caicos, the Bahamas, and the Dominican Republic. They loved exploring the sights and eating all the yummy food!

Riley and Kylee spent the COVID quarantine together in Fenton, MI. They actually loved spending the extra time together since she was sent home from college, and made the most of it!

Riley started his journey back to Grand Rapids every other weekend as Kylee started her senior year at college!

Kylee graduated from Grand Valley State University with her biggest supporter by her side.

Riley decided that their family was ready to grow! They adopted Bee Ayar on June 14th. Kylee was very hesitant at first, but instantly fell in love with Bee's funny and sweet personality.

Riley and Kylee moved with their friends to a home in Fenton, MI. They enjoy taking their new puppy, Bee, for walks downtown and decorating their new home.

Riley and Kylee's first trip together to Hawaii! They loved visiting Kylee's family in Kauai and being present for Kai's birth. They fell in love with the island, and started looking into the possibility of getting married there.
