Braden and Kyleigh were introduced by a mutual friend who thought the pair would make the perfect couple due to their similar love of football (even with Braden being an Oklahoma fan and Kyleigh K-State).

After a few weeks of texting back and forth and getting to know each other over the phone, Kyleigh and Braden decided to finally meet in person and have their first date in Manhattan, Kansas, they've been inseparable ever since.

The couple quickly fell in love spending as much time as they could together even with attending different colleges. Braden would often times go to class in Emporia and after would drive straight to Manhattan to spend time with Kyleigh, even if it was only for a few hours.

Following Kyleigh's graduation from Kansas State, the couple endured a long distance relationship for two and a half years, while Braden finished school at Emporia State and Kyleigh moved back home to Kansas City to start her career.

Years of driving back and forth and spending countless weekends together in Braden's home town of Council Grove all became worth it, when Braden graduated and the couple moved into their first home in Kansas City, along with their two dogs, Jordy and Trippy.

After almost four years of dating, on a very chilly Saturday morning in April, Braden surprised Kyleigh by asking her to marry him with her favorite animal a baby cow, with tears in her eyes she accepted his proposal.

The couple looks forward to spending a lifetime of happiness and love together while watching college football Saturdays and NFL Sundays with one another, as they embark on this new chapter of their lives in marriage.
