Can I bring a plus-one?
Plus-ones will be designated on your invitations. If your invitation does not mention a plus-one, we respectfully ask to just bring yourself and your dancin' shoes.
Where do I park?
Parking is available on streets surrounding the venue. However, if you cannot find street parking, there is parking available at a few churches nearby .
Guests can park in the following lots: Christ Episcopal Fairmont church, and First Baptist Fairmont church. Each parking lot is a 1-minute walk to the venue.
Where can we stay?
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Fairmont (off Exit 133). You may book a room at this hotel under the group code "RWB" or "Rice-Decker Wedding." The last day to book a room under the discounted rate at this hotel will be July 27, 2022. The hotel address is: 2121 Pleasant Valley Road, Fairmont, WV 25444
Do we have to stay in Fairmont?
Of course not! Guests are more than welcome to make their own hotel reservations anywhere they would like. If you want to stay in a busier place we suggest Morgantown, which would be about a 25-minute drive to the venue.
For those wanting a bit more to do but not as busy as Morgantown, we suggest Bridgeport, which is a 15-20 minute drive away depending on traffic.
Are kids welcome?
While we love all of your little ones, we have decided that other than the ring bearer and flower girl, we are going to keep our wedding adults-only. We hope you understand and enjoy a night out! Please reach out to us if you have any questions.
What time should I arrive?
Guests can arrive as early as 3:15, but no later than 3:50. The ceremony starts at 4 o'clock, so we want to make sure everyone has time to find a parking spot and their seat.
What is the RSVP deadline?
We ask that everyone RSVP's by Monday, July 11.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and reception are both being held fully outdoors. The reception is being held under a tent with a cement floor.
What should I wear?
We are requesting a semi-formal dress code for the wedding. We politely ask that no one wear white clothing, jeans, or shorts.
Can I take pictures/video wth my phone during the wedding?
We are having an "unplugged ceremony," which means we ask that all phones and devices are put away during the ceremony.
Why? Well, we have hired professionals to capture all of the moments during the ceremony.
But, after the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you want!
