They say a lot of people don't believe in love at first sight, but I am here to tell you different. On the day of October 27th, my best friend, Cassidy (bridesmaid), asked me to go to the bar with her for a Halloween Party. At first, I originally wasn't feeling up to going out but then I decided I was going to. When we first got there, the bar was dead. She had asked me if I wanted to head somewhere else and I said "no, it's only 830, let's see if the crowd picks up a little bit more." We ended up moving to the inside bar, just drinking and talking until I looked over and noticed this very handsome guy sitting at the other end of the bar with his friends. I asked Cass what she thought about him, as I'm pointing at him while trying not to get caught. Shortly after, we made eye contact and I looked away immediately trying not to get caught lol. A little while later goes on and I kept mentioning to Cass how I thought he was extremely cute and she eventually said "GO TALK TO HIM." I said "absolutely not, you go say something." Eventually we stopped talking about it and after about 10 mins I said to Cass "I dare you to tell Ben Franklin to go say something to him." ..........well he did and out of the corner of my eye, I see a guy in a white hoodie behind me say "Hi, I'm Brett!" and instantly fell in love with him! ...and the rest was history.
