Caden and Kyleigh met during lifeguard training in 2020, the first time that everyone was allowed to socialize outside after Covid. If you ask Caden their first date was to see the movie Tenent after a late shift, if you ask Kyleigh they went to see a movie "as friends". She maintains that to this day. After getting to know one another, the two finally started dating September 22nd, 2020. They got grown up jobs, moved into an apartment, learned how to be functioning adults, bought a house, got a dog, then naturally, got engaged.

Our venue is a historic dude ranch, established in the 1940s, perched on a stunning cliff that overlooks the Brazos River. Located in Mineral Wells, Texas—a charming small town nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country—it’s the perfect spot for those who love nature and scenic views. While the area offers plenty of outdoor activities, please note that indoor entertainment is limited to local restaurants and a few historic sites, as Mineral Wells remains a quaint and rural destination.The good news? Fort Worth is just about an hour away and offers a wide variety of attractions, dining, and entertainment for those looking to explore a bit more city life—we’ll be happy to share a list of our favorite spots! If you have any questions or would like local recommendations while planning your trip, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We know many of our guests are traveling in from outside the DFW area, and we’re more than happy to help you navigate our big, beautiful corner of Texas.
