We’re thrilled that you’re coming to celebrate our wedding in Tallinn, Estonia! We want your stay to be easy, comfortable, and full of wonderful memories.
Tallinn is a city that blends fairy-tale charm with cozy, modern Nordic life. You’ll find medieval stone streets, warm cafés, glowing lights, and snow in January — it’s like something out of a Christmas card.
To help you plan, we’ve put together this guide on where to stay, how to get around, and what to expect around our ceremony and reception locations.
There are two great parts of Tallinn we recommend for guests:
In the heart of historic Tallinn, about 15–20 minutes away from the venues by car
We have listed a sampling of lodging accommodations below, however there are many great hotels, hostels and Airbnb options throughout Tallinn!
Closer to both the church and the castle, 20-25 min drive to the city center by car
Both are excellent options — it just depends on the kind of experience you want!
**If you are coming for just the weekend of the wedding you might want to stay in Mustamäe / Nõmme area near the venue. Otherwise, if you are staying a few extra days, we recommend staying in the Old Town - it’s like walking out on a movie set each day!
If your main focus is the wedding day and you like peaceful surroundings, stay near Mustamäe / Nõmme for convenience.
If you’re turning your trip into a mini European getaway, Old Town is the perfect base for sightseeing, dining, and cozy winter evenings.
Either way, we can’t wait to celebrate with you — thank you for making the trip to share this special day with us.
Tallinn is magical in winter, and Glen’s Castle will make it unforgettable.
We can’t wait to see you there!
If you want to experience Tallinn’s magic up close — cobblestone streets, candle-lit cafés, and centuries-old towers dusted with snow — Old Town (Vanalinn) is where you’ll fall in love with the city. It’s the postcard-perfect side of Tallinn and only a 15–20 minute taxi ride to the ceremony or reception.
Why guests will love staying here:
- Everything is walkable — restaurants, shops, museums, and sights
- Perfect for sightseeing before or after the wedding
- Endless charm and atmosphere, especially in winter
Keep in mind:
- Slightly higher room prices than in Mustamäe
- You’ll need a short taxi, CityBee or Bolt (rideshare) ride to the wedding events

Distance: Old Town → Glen’s Castle = 15–20 minutes by car
Taxis & rideshare: Bolt (the local favorite) and Uber are reliable and affordable
CityBee: CityBee is a car-sharing service that lets you rent a car or van by the minute, hour, or day — all from your phone. You simply download the CityBee app, verify your driver’s license, and you’re ready to go. You can unlock cars with your phone, drive anywhere in Estonia, and then drop the vehicle off at any approved CityBee parking zone when you’re done. No need to return it to where you picked it up — it’s perfect for one-way trips around the city. It is quite affordable - on a recent trip we rented a CityBee to take someone from the Old Town to the Airport and return back to the Old Town and the total cost was only 15 euros.
Public transport: Tallinn has easy buses, trains and trams. Tickets are available via app or kiosks - https://www.visittallinn.ee/eng/visitor/plan/transport/public-transport
Winter travel tip: It can be snowy and chilly in January (around -5°C / 23°F), so bring warm boots and layers!
