Please wear formal attire. Please know our wedding is not "Black-Tie" but suits with ties and dresses knee or floor length are requested.

We did not block rooms due to hotel requirements, and high costs for guests. Please know, due to the holiday weekend, downtown Wilmington hotel prices are at minimum $200-$300 per night. We highly recommend looking at Airbnbs or hotels in Leland NC, Murrayville NC, Wrightsboro NC, Silverlake NC, Myrtle Grove, NC for more reasonable prices.

Yes, our ceremony will be held at Airlie Gardens and our reception will be held at Saint Thomas Preservation Hall.

Our ceremony will be outdoors. Cocktail hour, at the reception venue, will be outdoors and our reception will be indoors.

You can drive, rent a car, Uber, and/or Lyft to the ceremony and reception. We recommend connecting and car pooling to the wedding and/or reception.

Ceremony Parking at Airlie Gardens: Parking is available in the main parking lot of Airlie Gardens. Airlie staff will provide golf cart transportation for guests needing additional assistance to the ceremony location. Please know vehicles cannot be left in the main parking lot of Airlie Gardens overnight. The vehicles will be towed if left overnight at Airlie Gardens. Reception Parking at St. Thomas Preservation Hall: There is paid parking within downtown Wilmington along side streets and designated parking lots. We recommend ubering/lyfting or walking if staying downtown!

Due to our wedding venue size, we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. We will be sure to clarify on the wedding invitation if a guest is welcome.

Our wedding party will include our nephews and cousins. As much as we love your children, we have decided our ceremony and reception is best suited as an adult-only occasion. We will be providing a list of babysitters we highly recommend! We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy your night in our company!

Our dog Odin will be a member of our wedding party. As much as we love animals, we have decided our wedding celebration is a human only and an adult- only occasion. Please know service animals are always allowed. Wilmington is super dog and animal friendly so if you wish to bring your dogs/cats along on your visit to Wilmington please do!

Typical temperatures for May in Wilmington range from 70-80 degrees.

Wilmington has an airport located very close to our wedding locations, but for those traveling on a budget Raleigh, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC are both places with cheaper flights and are about 1.5 to 2 hours from Wilmington by car.
