Trevor and Kylie’s love story is a perfect example of the importance of timing. While both were student athletes at Mona Shores in the early 2010’s, their love story did not start there. It did not start in 2010, the year both were on their respective varsity basketball teams. It did not start in Spanish II class in 2011. It did not start in 2012 when Trevor was a line judge for Kylie’s home volleyball games.   As fate would have it, our leading man and lady both ended up attending Western Michigan University. Though they both knew of each other and shared many mutual friends, neither one would’ve guessed their other half was closer than expected.   If you ask Trevor, he’d tell you Kylie “followed him everywhere”. Where would life take these budding romantics next? You guessed it - both end up deciding to take root in Grand Rapids for their next chapter after graduating.   After what seemed like forever of the two running into each other around GR, Kylie began to wonder if there was more between them that hadn’t had a chance to surface yet. Trevor must have felt the same, and he asked Kylie to their first date to the Zoo in 2020.   Their relationship grew easily after that. The similarities between their interests, goals, passions and overall outlook on life was unlike any other partnership the other had experienced before. It was easy and comfortable for them to fall in love.   After plenty of adventures from that first date to the zoo (including quarantining during the pandemic, vacation to Costa Rica, Trevor joining Kylie to pass her PA exam in Chicago,Trevor surprising Kylie with a birthday gift to Harry Potter World, and so many others), they got engaged at the beautiful island of Paros in June 2023 surrounded by friends and family.   Trevor and Kylie continue to grow, laugh, learn and support each other. They want nothing more than to celebrate their cherished union with everyone who matters most to them as witness.   Thank you for visiting our site.
