Our Wedding

Kylie and I first met at work as nurses at Mayo in Rochester, Minnesota. Kylie made the first move and reached out to our mutual friend Maya. Shortly after, we had our first date at Nupa, a local Greek restaurant. I fell for her instantly and knew that she was the one for me! I asked her out in Nelson, Wisconsin, on July 10th, 2025 (with significantly longer hair). Despite an eventful morning due to an unfortunate rear-ending, and she still said yes!

The Beginning

The very next week, Kylie met my parents for the first time at the Isanti County Rodeo. Long after, my mom shared that she told my dad that very night that I was going to marry Kylie. I came to the same realization early on in the relationship; there was simply nobody else for me!

And So It Goes!

We quickly became inseparable. From football games to fishing to hiking, we did it all together! At Christmas, her parents invited me to join the family vacation to Hawaii! Through storms and all-day car rides, we had a magical time exploring the island of Maui.

Adventures Abound

Having discussed our future many times together, Kylie and I both knew how we felt about each other. She helped design her ring, and a proposal was known to be on the horizon. That didn't change how nervous I felt asking her father for his blessing to marry his daughter! Fittingly, I asked him at the very same Nupa that was our first date. The same day, I ordered the ring with the coordinates of where I would propose already engraved on the inner band! Kylie confidently thought the proposal would be on our cruise planned later in the year, but I wanted to surprise her. On a picnic hike on July 9th at our favorite park, Whitewater, I asked her to marry me. Spoilers, but she said yes!

The Big Question

The&nbsp;fun&nbsp;hasn't&nbsp;stopped&nbsp;since&nbsp;then!&nbsp;We&nbsp;enjoyed&nbsp;our&nbsp;first&nbsp;cruise&nbsp;together&nbsp;to&nbsp;Alaska,&nbsp;an&nbsp;absolutely&nbsp;unforgettable&nbsp;adventure&nbsp;that&nbsp;we'll&nbsp;need&nbsp;to&nbsp;repeat!&nbsp;On&nbsp;slow&nbsp;days&nbsp;and&nbsp;at&nbsp;meals&nbsp;throughout&nbsp;the&nbsp;week-long&nbsp;trip,&nbsp;she&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;practiced&nbsp;interview&nbsp;questions&nbsp;for&nbsp;her&nbsp;upcoming&nbsp;interviews&nbsp;for&nbsp;CRNA&nbsp;school.&nbsp;Her&nbsp;hard&nbsp;work&nbsp;paid&nbsp;off,&nbsp;as&nbsp;she&nbsp;was&nbsp;accepted&nbsp;into&nbsp;La&nbsp;Crosse&nbsp;in&nbsp;Wisconsin!

Alaska Ahoy!

Kylie&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;plan&nbsp;to&nbsp;move&nbsp;to&nbsp;Wisconsin&nbsp;into&nbsp;a&nbsp;rental&nbsp;apartment&nbsp;before&nbsp;her&nbsp;program&nbsp;starts&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;beginning&nbsp;of&nbsp;June!&nbsp;During&nbsp;her&nbsp;three&nbsp;years&nbsp;in&nbsp;school,&nbsp;I&nbsp;will&nbsp;continue&nbsp;to&nbsp;work&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;ICU&nbsp;at&nbsp;Mayo&nbsp;in&nbsp;Rochester.&nbsp;The&nbsp;next&nbsp;few&nbsp;years&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;busy,&nbsp;but&nbsp;we&nbsp;couldn't&nbsp;be&nbsp;more&nbsp;excited&nbsp;to&nbsp;see&nbsp;what&nbsp;life&nbsp;has&nbsp;to&nbsp;offer&nbsp;us!

What Now?

Our Story

Jon and I met in nursing school at Saint John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota. Although life has gotten more hectic than simply cramming for exams together, he remains a steadfast supporter and a great friend.

Jonathan VonBank

Graham and I met while taking photos for the College of Saint Benedict's Athletics department. We immediately began pushing each other with our photography (although he has long since eclipsed me). His friendship has been a blessing following our graduations.

Graham Miller

I first met Harry after one of his football games at Rosemount High School. We hit it off instantly. I could not be more excited to call him my brother-in-law!

Harry Estebo

Austin and I met working on 10-3, the Methodist Hospital ICU in Rochester, Minnesota. We quickly bonded over late nights catching catfish (or at least attempting to) and long rants about work. He has been accepted into Winona State's Family Practice DNP program, and I will sorely miss seeing him on the unit.

Dress Code

We have a block reservation at the Holiday Inn in Lakeville. Book your reservation by April 8th and specify that you are with the Estebo/Dubois wedding block (online block code is EDP). There is a multitude of room selections available for reservation. Check-in time begins at 3pm, and check-out time is 11am. Complimentary parking available for all guests. The property provides room service and a 24-hour front desk for guests. Guest rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a fridge, a coffee machine, a shower, free toiletries and a desk. Each room comes with a private bathroom with a hairdryer, while certain rooms include a balcony and others also offer pool views. Guest rooms will provide guests with a microwave.
