Weekend Itinerary

Our story started on July 13th, 2023, with what began as a casual drink at Corcoran's evolved into an unforgettable five-hour first date that ended at Murphy's Bleachers. Through shared laughter and endless conversation, the stars aligned as we both sensed that evening that we had discovered something extraordinary in each other's company.As our connection deepened, we found that our values and interests were shared in many ways. Our passion for family, friends, travel, sports, and food naturally became the foundation for our conversations and the adventures that would follow.Together, we've embarked on countless journeys that have shaped our story. We experienced New England's charm in Boston, and savored an unforgettable dinner at Street &amp; Co. in Maine. We hiked Colorado's trails (with plenty of visits to Penny), and experienced the retired life with our parents in Florida – golfing, sailing, and fishing in Naples and Jacksonville. Our adventures took us through the dazzling lights of Las Vegas, the scenic beauty of San Francisco, and the unique experiences of the Texas State Fair in Dallas. We cheered on the Steelers in Pittsburgh and the NIU Huskies home and away (NIU 16- ND 14). We created lasting memories in our countless trips to Galena, especially during the Farrell/Hilliard family weekend.On November 29, 2024, under the guise of Grandma Mary's birthday celebration, Jake planned a surprise engagement at Eagle Brook Country Club. Both our families were in attendance and Kylie, focused on baking a lemon meringue pie for Grammie, was none the wiser that anything was happening.Each moment has woven itself into the fabric of our relationship and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate our next step in life together, with all of you.

Our wedding will be held at Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa. The resort offers several accommodations including guest rooms at the inn, villas (1, 2, and 3 bedrooms), and homes (3, 4, and 5 bedrooms).
