Our story began at the 2019 Walworth County Fair, where we met through mutual friends—Kylie was showing dairy cattle and Ben was showing pigs (try to find a story more Midwest than that!).

We officially started dating on January 27, 2020.

Summers have always been filled with tractor ride dates, and, of course, Ben was quick to rope Kylie into stacking hay. In return, Kylie quickly got Ben on skis the following winter.

Throughout the school years, Ben made regular stops in Madison on his way to and from Platteville, and lots of FaceTime calls helped us stay connected when we couldn’t be together in person.

On our four-year anniversary, Ben proposed at one of our favorite places—his family’s property up north—right by the lake. The diamond in the center of the ring has been in his family since 1884! It was peaceful, meaningful, and perfect.

A few weeks later, in February 2024, we took on our next big adventure: buying a fixer-upper. With the support (and elbow grease!) of our incredible friends and family, we turned it into a place we now proudly call home.

Then, on June 1, 2024, our hearts grew even fuller with the arrival of our sweet daughter, Emelia. She has brought more love and joy into our lives than we ever imagined—and we can’t wait for her to be part of this special celebration.

We’re grateful for everything that’s brought us here and excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people we love.
